Hotel Concorde is 2 minutes walk from Termini and walking distance to the sights. The room was adequate and clean, the location, if you use the station is excellent.

La sistemazione è comoda, le stanze pulite, il personale gentile. Una sola piccola critica: la colazione è un po' "misera"!

This hostel is vey expensive for the quality offer, even if the place is near the rome city center. on the web page is written that there is a parking for the car, but you have to found it by yourself. The breakfast is not a international one, you have to go in another place in the street (so not in the hostel) and you can have a coffee and a croissant...

Our room was very dark with only one small light. The shower was not very nice. It was in the center of the toilet without any curtains so that after the shower there was water everywhere in the bathroom. We where staying only one night in hotel Concorde and it was ok, but I never would choose it to spend there more than one night.

This was our last hotel stay on a two week vacation I had with my 24 year old daughter. The hotel facility did not look like the picture. There were groups of people smoking and drinking in the stairways and hallways. When we came home Sunday evening from dinner at 11:00 p.m. there was a man passed out on the stairway outside the reception area that we had to step over to get into the hotel. We told the reception desk that there was someone passed out in the hallway and the man shrugged his shoulders and waved us away. The room was noisy from inside hotel noise more so than outside noise. In the morning we had requested a cab to take us to the airport. The receptionist told us it would be $50.00 but when the cab driver arrived, he and the receptionist got into a screaming match. The cab driver started to leave and the receptionist came around the desk, pushed me into the stair railing to go after the cab driver - another man broke it up. I was never so happy to leave a hotel. This was the only poor - or I should say terrible hotel experience we had on our entire trip. I would not consider staying there again, even if it was free.

On arriving the staff were very friendly and efficient that is only positive thing about our stay. The rooms were described as recently refurbished our room must have been last decorated in the seventies, vinyl floors were dirty, the bathroom was so dirty we felt we had to shower in sandals. the toilet, shower and basin were on the same level with not even a curtain to separate the three. At 115 euro per night we found this to be extortionate for the quality we were given. We will definitly not be returning to the "enchanting" hotel concorde.

The photo provided by web were not representative. It was not a true hotel but two top floors of the building (5th and 6th). The elevator goes to 5th floor and not to the 6th. I had to lift all my laugage to the 6th floor by muself. No porter help whatsoever. Air conditioner was not working which was complained from the begining. No one lissened and rectified the problem. Finally they told me that open up the window, spent night and go away in the morning. They were also insisted me too much to leave the room very early. The attitude was very bad and the night reception staff was extremely ill mannered and insulted me. For the breakfast they send us to a bar, at a little distance from the hotel which served very very small breakfast. Very poor bedding and TV. Room very small and Roof slanting to one side. One can easily hit his head if not careful. This was my first trip to Rome and I was so diappointed in only one day and with the attitude of Rome people that I may not even go to Rome again or atleast never stay at this hotel. Iam quite disappointed with your company who has offered me such a pathetic hotel. Iam a frequent traveller and a hotel even in a third world country like Sirilanka are far much better at very low price.

Concorde is incorrectly located on the hotel's location map on Venere site as being close to Via Nazionale in Repubblica - Termini area. In reality it is about 4 blocks to the other direction on Via G. Amendola in Esquilino area in a crummy neighborhood (In the same building is another Venere hotel called Ferrari which gives you the correct location on their map - found out just now). Sure, the hotel is close to Termini which can be a huge advantage. But luckily this is not the only hotel there. In front of the building people were selling drugs. The bed was infested with bugs. The air condition worked fine. The breakfast, plain milk coffee and a roll two blocks away was pathetic. For the price at that location it was a rip off. Will never stay at this hotel again. Cannot recommed.

The hotel was in a convenient location for transportation. The room was quiet, but hot. Though there was an air conditioner control in the room, the compressor had been turned off, so it only controlled the fan. Overall, it represented good value.

Staying in the Concorde hotel was the worse part of our trip to Italy. good location (near by the main train station) was the ONLY advantage of this place. the rooms were relatively clear, but the general furnishing was awful. broken fans, disgusting bathrooms, squeaking doors etc. and do not buy anything from the coffee machine!!! the staff was full of aspiration to help but NO ONE of them spoke english! we had to spend half an hour to explain that our fan was broken! and we had to ask for everything twice because from the first time it just didn't work. the final conclusion - waste of money! we think this hotel should be classified maximum one star. we wouldn't recommend anyone to stay in the Concorde hotel.

The hotel is on the 5th and 6th floor (with a lift) of a building very close to the main railway station and bus terminus. The rooms are basic and could be improved with just a couple of framed postcards. My room was very dull. Having said that, you're not in Rome to look at the fours walls of your room. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. Although breakfast was included, you have to go out of the hotel and along the road to a cafe for it but it's not the end of the world. If you need cheap, central and clean accomodation, Concorde will serve the purpose. It's not glam but I would certainly go back and use it as a base.

Overall the hotel was reasonable value for money. The location was conveniently close to the railway station but due to location indicated on the map being incorrect I walked a lot further than neccessary to get there. I prefer not to have to go to a bar outside for breakfast, and what one got was not very much, but it is the sort of thing I expect in Italy.

I really feel disappointed with this hotel. The staffs are not friendly and not helpful. The room look very old and the hotel is situated on the 5 floor of a building, the reception area is so small that it does not look like those shown in the photo of the web. Also, as Rome is very very hot in summer time, air-conditioning is very important. Although the hotel had air-conditioning services, it only provide within a specific time limit : 1:00p.m. - 4:00p.m & 11:00p.m. - 3:00a.m, but such time limit didn't stated in the web site. As the air-conditioning will switch off in the morning (3:00a.m.), the time when people are sleeping, so I just wondering the air-conditioning is useless, how come they switch it off when the customers are still sleeping??? Besides, I remember when I taking the shower in the bathroom, suddenly a hotel staff knock my room door and ask me to turn off the water tap and stop taking the shower because the people downstairs complained that I have used up all the water and there's no water downstairs.... I really wondering such thing would happen in a '2 STAR HOTEL'??????? Overall, I really dissatisfied with this hotel, although it said it was a 2 star hotel but I don't think it would even worth for one star....I definitely would not recommend this to the others!!!!!!!!

This is very close to the station and at a convenient location. we enjoyed our stay here but had issues with the air conditioning. our unit was broken in our hotel room and we weren't able to get the air condition looked at or fixed. also, because of this problem, we kept our windows opened and our location was very noisy.

Cheap hotel but value for money and very central to the station. Only real comment is that the directions to access the hotel were very misleading - no signs that I saw for Santa Maria Maggiore and I ended up getting a cab - despite the fact that the hotel is literally two minutes from the station! Better directions would be "from the airport train exit the station as facing the front of the station on the right handside and the hotel is just off one of the small roads across the street" A better map would be very useful!
