Hotel Città 2000 - Rome

Hotel Citta came out to be my best decision during my trip to Rome. Though its a bit far from downtown but is well connected by Bus and Metro. The facilities are really cool at a very cheap price. Even a day pass for all Public Transport in Rome is just EUR4,00 which even gives a double Plus to Hotel Citta even when its far from Rome central. I would rate this as the best bargain for stay in Rome.

Good price. Staff friendly. Better to have an own car. But there is a good garage. A good quick pizza is just near the hotel, and a supermarket too. There isn't restaurant in hotel but in the sorroundings I suggest "L'isola dei Feaci". It's very nice and has good food.

Its a poor hotel ,the breakfast is ridicolous and the sorrounds are rially desert.

The breakfast is rather simple, though the coffee is freshly made. The personnel is friendly and helpful.

Though the area was a little 'down town' and not quite what I anticipated, all in all the stay was pleasant. You get what you pay for in terms of a basic hotel room; however the service and helpfulness of staff far exceeded expectations and ensured a more than adequate stay. The Elefante restaurant was exceptional and we were very pleased with the recommendation and thoroughly helpful advice from staff on reception.

There was probably a lot more noise than usual during my stay as there was a very large group of teenagers rooming on the same floor. The stay surpassed my expectations. Thank you very much for an enjoyable stay.

Clean room, nice breakfast and helpful staff. Too far to city center and quality of neighborhood is not the best. You have to take a taxi or bus to the nearest metro station if you don't have car to go to city center.

El hotel es agradable. se encuentra en la afuras de Roma, 20´en auto, en transporte público: 20´bus+20 de metro. en los alrededores hay solo edificios residenciales y se encuentra muy cercano a la autopista.

Everything at the property was fine however, information we got from Google maps was very misleading so there should be some additional information provided with this property. The map on the internet indicates that there is a Metro Station within walking distance of the Hotel. This metro line is under construction. The nearest metro stop is a 15 minute bus ride from the hotel. The bus stop was just in front of the property but this was a hassle and it seemed to add about an hour per day to the commute with waiting for the buses and changing to the train. The property was a bit further out than we had anticipated due to the lack of Metro.

Hotel is quite fsr away from everything, but we knew that. It's easy to get places though with bus and metro train; Inexpensive too. The only thing was they charged extra for a couple cups of coffee which made me mad. The hotel is nice and the people were friendly though and helpful. There were only a couple of restaurants close to the hotel, but they were fairly good. The hotel drove us to one of them and picked us up. We couldn't afford the hotels closer to the heart of Rome so this was a good choice even with the bus and train costs.
