L'unique intérêt de cet hôtel très décentré mais par ailleurs correct est sa proximité avec la Via Appia antica. Mais cette proximité est toute relative. Trouver à pied l'accès à cette voie antique depuis l'hôtel relève un peu du parcours du combattant. Ne pas compter sur les locaux, qui ignorent comment s'y rendre à pied. Mieux vaut pour cette raison partir de Rome dans la matinée et gagner les abords de la partie piétonnière de la Via Appia en bus ou en taxi. A environ 200 m de cette partie piétonnière se trouve un loueur de vélos, ce qui permet une randonnée très agréable loin des voitures. A noter cependant qu'il existe un certain nombre de monuments à visiter de part et d'autre du tronçon de la Via Appia antica où les voitures sont autorisées. La partie sans voiture est magique et vaut à elle seule le détour.

All was relax and functional. Thank to your team. The lower quotation on service is only due to the following comment (coming from aided hearing person). VERY IMPORTANT The accoustic of the church is poor. Consequently a microphone + a portable microphone + loudspeakers within the conference room will have been of a great help for a better understanding of all the discussions.

A very nice hotel, unfortunately not well supported by public transport, especially if heading to Rome's main attractions like city centre. Taxis or own/rented car are highly recommended. Also, my room was on the 1st floor, alongside the highway, it was a bit too noisy. My overall impression is very good, especially for the low rate I've got.

How to reach Cilicia Hotel
By carExit any of the A1-A2-A24 motorways onto the Grande Raccordo Anulare ring-road. Drive until you reach exit number 23 Via Appia-Roma Centro. After the exit proceed for about 10 km towards Piazza San Giovanni in Laterano. Once in Piazza Re di Roma, take via Cerveteri, proceed until Piazza Tuscolo and then take via Britannia. Continue until you reach Piazza Galeria and then take via Cilicia, where the hotel is located at number 7.
By train
From the Termini railway station you can easily reach the property by taxi, in about 20 minutes. Otherwise, you can take the underground line A (Anagnina direction) and get off at Re di Roma. The hotel lies only 1.5 km away.
By airplane
The Roma Fiumicino airport is connected to the city by highway or by a local train service, called Leonardo Express, leaving every 30 minutes to Termini station. If you prefer to reach the hotel by taxi the ride will take from 30 to 40 minutes, depending on the traffic.
The Roma Ciampino airport is just a few bus stops from underground line A terminus Anagnina. The ride to Re di Roma takes 15-20 minutes.
