Hotel Cherubini - Rome

Free wireless internet with our own laptop was nice (they charge for use of the lobby computer). The room was clean. AC was 10 extra Euros per day! The street noise was quite loud with the window open, but absent with the window closed. They repeatedly forgot to replace towels and breakfast often had missing items or different than requested. The bed was comfortable. It was very close to the Train station which is also a convenient metro and bus hub. It is a safe, clean, and comfortable room, but you get what you pay for.

Prime reason for selection was proximity to Termini Station - just one minute's walk. What we got was just what we expected from the reviews - a budget hotel (95 euro for a Friday night)that gave a comfortable clean night's sleep. Some of the fittings may not be the best, but the helpful staff were excellent; free internet was a bonus. We soon got used to the vibration from the passing trams - which also made breakfast interesting from the balcony. The hotel is not easy to find from the street - look for one of several bells at a doorway. Once inside, the hotel is on the second floor. As luck would have it, the lift was not working - the big suitcase was a hard lug.

I would strongly recommend this hotel to anybody! The price for the room was really good. My boyfriend and me were fully satisfied with the room, the facilities and also with the welcoming and service level of the staff. Everybody was really nice and helpful. When we return to Rome, we will probably choose Cherubini again.

Everythings in the bathroom is hung very high and the blanket is very thin.But others is excellent.I will tell my friends to stay in this hotel when go to Rome because of the best location.

Well.. in this hotel i have fallen in love with my partner... i have found everything fantastic... and the people there really nice! The rooms were really quite and clean! It was also really romantic to receive each morning the breakfast in the room :)

Very friendly staff, particularly the Italian guy that greated us (he spoke a cute version of broken English plus occasional Italian words to fill in the gaps :) )! When he heard that this was our first time in Rome, he gave us a map and started indicating the main sightseeing sights, including info on bus lines and metro working hours, some general advice (esp on safety), and was genuinely interested that we make the most of our visit in Rome! Rooms were small but clean, and had small safes for documents etc. Free internet in the hall was an added bonus. Breakfast - very basic (cappuccino/tea and croissant plus some jam & biscuits), but room service :) Hotel is situated in a neighbourhood where you would not want to hang around, especially after dark, but it was only a block away from Termini station and therefore very convenient for us. Price/quality ratio v.good, would return again - welcoming & friendly service!

Quite good hotel, but expensive. However, I may come again.

The location is good, very close to the main train station. but it is located on the third floor of a building which is full of different hotels. the room is pretty standard. the bathroom is spacious and clean. but the breakfast is terrible! The room is extremely noicy from the outside street noice. if you want to sleep, you have to close all the windows but then, you won't have much air in the room. for a double room cost 100euro, I think it is too shabby.
