Hotel is very good value for money. High level of overall comfort, good view over the city, extremely good breakfast and a good restaurant - though the menu here would be a bit restricted if you were staying more than a few days. Public transport links are good- Gemelli rail station is just round the corner and the hourly hotel minibus is very useful during the day. Accessibility in the evenings is a problem. If you want to spend the evening in the city centre the last train back is 10.20. Also the hotel bar shuts at 11.30 even if there are lots of potential customers - crazy!

The hotel was far too far out of central Rome. The name Central Park was deceiving. The shuttle service was efficient however unnecessarily expensive considering the remoteness of the hotel. I'd suggest that the shuttle service become complimentary to hotel patrons to compensate the distance and time it takes to reach the city centre. Overall the hotel was clean and well presented.

My rating would be overall "Excellent" were it not for two things. 1) No matter what I did (including talk to reception several times) the temperature in my room staid at 28 C. I was promised it would be fixed, but this did not happen during the four days I staid at the hotel. 2) The health club did not open till 10.00 AM - a bit late for my "workout before breakfast" routine. Otherwise, an excellent hotel, very convenient for my convention site - and the shuttle to downtown Rome was great.

Hotel is outside the city centre by some way but this is more than compensated for by the excellent complimentary bus hotel bus service that runs into the city centre 6 times a day. The other added advantage is that the noise levels are so much lower than in the city. The staff were excellent and and the prices for meals and services (minibar) are very reasonable. There is a full fitness centre attatched to the hotel that guests can use free of charge. I would recomend this hotel and will certainly be seeking to use Movenpick hotels in any future trips I take.

Hotel is easy to get to from the airport by rail. The hotel is located far from city center, but there is Public transportation near hotel that can take you there.

How to reach Hotel Central Park

By car
The hotel is easily reachable from the Grande Raccordo Anulare ring road, exit n.1, Aurelio centro. Keep on driving for about 4 km along Via Aurelia, Piazza S. Giovanni Battista De La Salle, Circonvallazione Cornelia, Via Pineta Sacchetti, Via Montiglio and Via Pascucci.

By train
The hotel is 30 minutes, with the FM3 line, from S.Pietro/Vaticano railway station. The FM3 line is connected with the underground line A that stops in proximity to most of the tourist sites in the city centre.

By airplane
From Roma Fiumicino airport: take the A91 highway and exit at SS1/Via Aurelia and continue on the A90 highway. Exit at Via Boccea and follow directions to Roma/Casalotti/Primavalle. Keep right and drive along Via Boccea. Once in Piazza Di Giureconsulti Square, turn left and take the Circonvallazione Cornelia. Drive along Via della Pinetta Sacchetti and turn right at Via Vittorio Montiglio and then again right at Via Giuseppe Moscati. The hotel is on your left.
From Roma Ciampino airport: take the Grande Raccordo Anulare ring road towards Fiumicino/Civitavecchia and take the exit no.1 driving in direction of Rome city centre and St. Peter. Turn right on Via Acqua Fredda and at the third set of traffic lights turn left onto Via Mattia Battistini. At the end of Via Mattia Battistini turn left onto Via Pineta Sacchetti and then right following directions to Hotel Central Park.
