This castle is absolutely beautiful...if you want to get away from the bustling city, this place for you. The Hotel generously provides a shuttle to a few local restaurants and to the local train station...Only downside is the remote area, no wifi in rooms and a limited menu in the restaurant. We felt a little isolated at first...however, we quickly adjusted and the Castle was a nice refuge after spending a busy day touring the beautiful sites of Roma...

The hotel is beautiful. The indications to get to the hotel aren´t clear so we have some problems to arrive. The restaurant is great!

The room and bathroom were beautiful, the people who worked there were very helpful and nice. Most spoke very good English. However, the Turkish bath was lukewarm, the sauna was tile so it was hot and you couldn't lay down, the food was mediocre and we had lukewarm water in our shower as well. It was a little difficult to find - our GPS took us to the closed end of the street. But the grounds are beautiful and it would be lovely at a different time of the year. It was winter and rainy so we didn't walk around a lot. They have a shuttle to the train to get into Rome but it is only certain times of the day so you really have to be more organized than we were.

A few remarks: pool was closed although temperature in May about 25 centigrade, which was a pity. Moreover the wellness center was also closed, which is a pity because you pay for 2 facilities you don't get in the end. A remark on the food in the restaurant: price/quality ratio is poor - I had eg "stuffed duck", which first of all wasn't stuffed but simply the full breast, and where duck should be rosé, this was overcooked. So food really too expensive for what you get. Nevertheless, simply beautiful hotel and surroundings, great rooms, marvellous to have an aperitif on the terrace... so we had a nice stay, but there were truly some minor points.

By carFrom the Grande Raccordo Anulare ring-road, take exit n.3 and continue along via Cassia in the direction of Viterbo, then follow the indications towards La Giustiniana. Turn left into via Torre Delle Cornacchie, left again into via Torre di Spizzichino, then right into via Carlo Cavina.
