Se volete un posto centrale è ok. La pulizia lascia a desiderare ma 109 euro per una tripla è molto positivo.

Great location, you can visit a lot of places without bus or underground. Very close to Piazza Spania & underground stations. Easy to get there from Termini. Valuable breakfast. Dark & small rooms but clean. New and comfortable beds. Expensive regarding overall standing but not expensive compared to other places in Italy.

The air-condition was not working on two floors (2-3) it was air-ventilation!! After several requests, they allowed us to move to air-condition room (floor 4-5) one night (out of 3). This is the only issue we had.

This Hotel is in dire need of a complete makeover. Starting from the older bloke on the front counter who is unable to do more than 1 thing at a time, and look out if you try to get his attention as you will be met with a very big scowl!!!!! The internet point was inoperative most times, and then when it did work, it was overpriced. We had to put our luggage against our room door as the lock had been previously kicked in and a makeshift repair was carried out, which meant it was therefore not secure. The walls are paper thin, and whilst I generally don't mind when couples are having a good time in the room next to me, there comes a point when enough is enough! The only good things about this hotel was the fact that the girly bar it sits on top of was raided and closed a few days before we arrived, and its close proximity to all of the wonderful sights of Rome. This was my 12th trip to Rome, I will not be returning to this Hotel in a pink fit!!!! I would recommend you pay the xtra few euro and stay elswhere!

We booked this room last minute on Venere.com the day before arriving in Rome. The price could not be beaten for the level of the hotel. It was rated a 3 star and I guess thats because the facilities are simple but the hotel itself was immaculate clean and in perfect working order. Staff were very helpful and breakfast was included. The location was great only 5-10min walk to Trevi Fountain or Piazza di Spagna, 20min walk to Stazioni Termini & a metro station 3min walk to get to other parts of the city, plenty of restaurants nearby or on the way to somewhere else. Of all the 2-3 star budget hotels we stayed in during 5 weeks in Europe this was by far the best. Clean towels each day and huge bedroom with comfortable bed. I would certainly return here.

At first I was shocked by the size of the room - even for a single traveller it was tiny, windows went out into the street, the furniture dated back to the 80s..but I grew to like by the end of my short trip - the location was perfect! 10 mins walk to Barberini metro station, 10-15 to the shopping triangle and Piazza di Spagna, a lot of restaurants around, there was even a beauty studio and 2 lap dance clubs nearby ))But in the room it wasn't noisy and in general I felt quite safe. I think for Rome it's value for money, although somewhere in Nice I could get more fancy apartments for 120 Euro..

Una struttura che dovrebbe essere totalmente riformata. Stanze minuscole. Servizi sanitari pessimi. Colazione impossibile. Rapporto qualità/prezzo assolutamente indecente.

This was my second stay at the hotel Caprice. If ever I return to Roma as a rich man I will stay somewhere seriously upmarket. In the meantime I remain perfectly happy with hotel Caprice. I have already recommended it to other travellers.

The standard room offered was not the one on the picture; it was indeed so much smaller than that of the photo. You could hardly walk through between the bed and wall, which is the only space you can walk to the window or to the space inside. The water in the shower was like a dog-peeing, so little that one can hardly wash his/her hair unless you have very short hair. Water didn't drain well either, which caused overflow when used for the first time. Since Rome is not a big city, staying near Termini station, which is less expensive to accommodate, would be convenient enough to travel around in the city and give you more space and modern facilities at the same rate.

I enjoyed staying at Caprice. My room was on the 5th floor with a partial overlook view of the city. At night I would open up the window and could enjoy the view. The double window did not close tight, but the drape worked out ok to keep the heat - also it was a balmy mild night, so it did not chill me at night due to this loose window sill. The breakfast was adquate and with a good quality/quantity. The staff members at the front and the dining area were corteous and pleasant to deal with. Good value hotel.

We booked three rooms at the Caprice for three nights, two singles and one double. Everything about the stay was fine except the double room was really a single with an extra bed jammed in, making the room very small indeed. I noticed one couple complaining about something similar just before we left and they were moved to another room. Otherwise the hotel was fine for a city centre location. Watch out for the strip club next door - a bit out of place amongst the salubrious and expensive restaurants and shops of the Via Veneto area!
