we have chosen this hotel becouse of the location which is close to train station. There was no available room and the lady who compleated our registration when we have arrived said that they made an upgrade and gave us an upgrated room. However, the ceiling was bad, she couldn find the proper lock of the enterance and the room. When we were leaving with our luggages, an old guy said something in italian which we didnt understand but it seems that the residents of the building are not happy with the hotels.

I spent 2 nights here, single with bath outside. The room was well heated, calm and somehow nice, the staff was welcoming and helpful. Of course, bath was outside, one of the showers didnt work well, but there are two of them. Breakfast was brought at 7:30 to the room, it was some packed cake (I didnt try out) and hot milk and coffee (very good but only a sip). The hotel is small, only in the 4th floor, it has the entrance together with another hotel (so dont oversee it), and seems safe. TV is only DVBT - obviously only italian programmes. It was nothing bad with this stay - so I recommend: for that price take it - and stay a night longer!

When we arrived in Capri hotel, it seemed that there was no room for us, but without giving any explanations, the hotel manager asked for us to pay and then sent us to the hotel on the other side of the floor, where we had a very tiny room, very noisy (close to the reception). We almost did not sleep at all. Luckily, we stayed there only one night, and Rome is a wonderful city, wherever you stay. And they cooked breakfast for us early in the morning so that we could eat before catching our plane.

The Hotel Capri was a great disappointment. For the four nights we stayed, our room was not cleaned at all, nor were the towels replaced, the bin emptied or the minibar replenished. With temperatures around 30 degrees and not a fan in sight, this was distinctly unpleasant! On the positive side, the location of this hotel is very handy, not too far from the city centre (although the noise at night is unbearable due to proximity to the Termini) and the price is reasonable for Rome in high season. Overall though I would say that the hotel was a huge let down which was a shame as the rest of our visit to Rome was perfect.

We booked rooms in the "Capri" thinking that every room had their own WC and shower, as mentioned on the website. However, when we showed up we found that this is only true for the double rooms. The people who ended up in the single rooms had to use a communal bathroom, which seemed to be occupied most of the time. We therefore cut our holiday short, aslo becomes the rooms were rather noisy. Rooms were cheap and clean though...

When we arrived we were directed to another address - and equipped only with a dot on a map and a bunch of keys. Our room was one of 4 in a flat - all keys fitted all rooms - we found out that, as noone had told us which of the locked rooms in the flat was ours!! - Scaring!! During our 5 day stay we never saw a member of the 'staff' - but beds were made and linen changed all right. We paid for a room WITH breakfast - and had this written on the confirmation we received - but there was NO breakfast - and as we pointed that out to the receptionist we were met by the well known Italien 'blankness-of-the-eye' meaning 'I dont understand what you are talking about' - which might of course be true - but the words 'reduction' and '68 Euros' was understood all right. So we feel that we did not get what we paid for. Location by Termini and right by Piazza Maria Maggiore was of course excellent.

We thought we had booked room at Hotel Capri, but when we arrived we got a key and were told that our room was at Capri Bed&Breakfast. We tried to do our best to understand the Italian speaking women, and went around 20 min before we found the street, the B&B and our room. It was no reception or any kind of welcoming at the B&B and actually quite confusing! The room was spacious, but gloomily and the bathroom was not clean. During our stay the service was close to none, and the only person that must have been working there was a "washing(?)lady". Of course the room was cheap and central (and spacious), but I will not recommand it anyway!

The room itself was OK but the building was grungy. But on purely functional terms as a place to crash, it's alright

Staff only speak italian but it works anyway. They have two hotel locations so the address we had proved to be the wrong one. In spite of telphone call by italian speaking friend before stay - hotel staff failed to inform about proper address. On the other hand the staff drove our luggage in their car and everything was solved in a good way. Rooms are OK.
