Good cheap 4 star hotel if you travel for work and you need to stay in this area, far from the centre. noisy doors, when your neighbours leave their rooms you wake up. good breakfast. clean hotel. cold rooms when you arrive. heating starts when you insert your card.

We stayed three nights at Hotel Campannelle and found it nice, clean and comfortable for the price offered.Place is quiet that appeals after crowdy Roma city which can be reached in 30 minutes using hotel shuttle bus and metro.Good buffet breakfast. If you would like to save a bit of money for food you can find a pizzeria behind the hotel with very good real pizza and homemade wine. Hotel's restraunt is OK but more expensive.

Instruction to go the hotel is incomplete, restaurant waiter was discrimanatory, we were there to dine and said that we need a reservation and thattheres a 30 minute wait they will call our room when the table is ready. we went outside and observed and they were going to sit 3 people that just came w/out a reservation, so we complained and even lied to us andsay they called our room, service was very poor as well. I wont go back to this hotel because of the restaurant which is the only one around.

The hotel is within walking distance of the major attractions - Uffizzi Museum, the "shopping" bridge, the Accademia, and the Duoma. Our room had a small balcony which overlooked the River Arno which was just across the street. Lovely views. There were only two drawbacks: we were 3 people sharing a room and we consistently got only two towels in the bathroom. The desk staff was very good at getting the extra towel for us but we did have to ask. The other inconvenience was that there is not enough space in the bathroom to lay out toiletries, clothing, etc. - i.e. shelves, cabinets, etc. However, the hotel is easy to recommend.

Rooms are spacious, clean, good beds. A little loud, due to coming and going of guests with luggage even at night. Staff at reception always busy and could be more friendly, but helpful, if asking for help. At this price and this quality a good place to visit rome.

My wife and I were looking for somewhere to stay for three nights for a short break in Rome. Although this was the first time that we had stayed at Hotel Capannelle, we were aware from the Travel Advisor website that the Hotel was situated about 30 minutes (by shuttle bus and then the Metro) to central Rome, but our priority was for safe parking and access to a swimming pool. All the reception staff spoke excellent English. The hotel is modern, rooms are spacious and comfortable and the free buffet breakfast (hot and cold fare) was substantial. Free covered parking was offered and the pool was clean and welcoming. Our only slight disappointment was that the hotel policy threatened to remove anything of a personal nature from the mini-bar in the room's large fridge. Overall an excellent hotel that we will be recommending to family and friends if they visit Rome. The hotel was assessed on the Travel Advisor website as being very close to the top 10% of hotels in Rome and we would support that assessment from our recent experience. Excellent value for money.

Great stay! nothing to complain about. everything as indicated in the site. nice swimming pool, always accessible in summer (and staff present to give you towels and assist). very good restaurant inside the hotel for average price. otherwise nice cuban restaurant just 50 mt from the hotel. great breakfast (buffet) with all you can dream of. free (and safe) parking for your car, only problem might be if you have no car: public transports are not that good in the area, so pay attention (there's a shuttle from teh hotel to a couple of metro stops, but it's not that frequent after 7pm).

I was very pleased with the quality and service from this hotel. Bed was really comfy, and very large. Only disappointment I had, was I booked this hotel particularly as it had a pool, I was informed that I could not use the pool during my stay due to no lifeguard being present. This was disappointing, as the pool is what tipped my decision towards this hotel rather than one in the centre of town. Transportation to closest station was provided by the hotel, though was inadequate in terms of frequency and availability as we missed 2 buses in a row due to being full on our first day. Public transport was the best way to go, with the 664 going to the station regularly. I would still return as the quality of hotel and price was excellent. Only thing I never worked out well was getting from airport, cost flat 30 euro fee for a 5 minute taxi due to taxi company policy, 30Euro to anywhere in rome centre.

Nice Hotel, breakfast poor, (instant coffee, 1 sort of bread, watery orange "juice". Quite far away from city-centre, but public transportation O.K. (bus & underground, taxi approx. 25 EUR, 45 EUR to Fiumicino airport)

A recommander. On reviendra sans aucun doute.

If you want to go to Rome and be stuck in your hotel, this is the right hotel for you! The night before check-in I called the hotel to obtain directions from the airport. The staff person explained to me that I need to take the train into the center of the city (Termini) and then take the metro to a particular stop. The metro stop is significantly far from the hotel (10 eu cab ride.) The hotel supposedly offers shuttles from the metro but the last shuttle is at the ridiculously early time of 6:00 pm!!!!! Given my flight arrived at 5:30, there was no way I would reach the metro stop in time to take the shuttle and so the hotel person told me to take a cab. Once I arrived at the metro stop, it was very obvious that I was in the middle of a residential area and of course there were not only no cabs waiting but there were no cabs (available or not) driving by!! I called the hotel for help and they were useless. They they told me that I could take a bus but they could not explain how to get to the bus stop or which side of the street was the right direction to the hotel! I asked them to send me a cab and they couldn't because they didn't know where I was! So, their "brilliant" suggestion was for me to call a cab and somehow explain where I am even though I didn't know any more than what I had told the hotel about my location! I was furious!! Lucky for me at about this time one cab ended up driving by and stopping. So, finally after 3 hrs, I arrived at the hotel! Once there I found out more about their insufficient shuttle... As I was in Rome for New Year's I neeed to be able to get back to the hotel late in the night. So, I was told that the metro would run until 2:00 am that night but... there would be no shuttle from the metro of course! Imagine this... at 2:00 am you arrive in the middle of a residential area and you hang out on the street hoping that some available cab drives by?!!?! On top of this, since the hotel was in the middle of a bunch of apartment b
