Clean hotel, helpful staff, large, air conditioned room. Whilst not right in the centre of tourist Rome it is exceptionally well-connected with bus, tram and metro stops nearby. Several restaurants nearby catering for all budgets but essentially a quiet area that felt safe at night. My kids loved the ancient aqueduct right outside the hotel door!

The hotel was just what we needed. Great location, fair price. It’s a standard European hotel! Don't be a typical American and think this is a Hyatt or Marriott with a swimming pool, this hotel is Rome, older, charming, some flaws, but overall a great experience! I would stay again and again!

The hotel might be better if the facilities will be checked and the walls were making up and were changing the tapestries. In the breakfast they might offer coffee(café) and juices that were not of machine

Hotel really wasn't that bad for a one night stay. My in-laws stayed in a triple room, and had a lot of space. The double room was small, but not bad. I thought it was closer to the Colosseum than the Termini. We enjoyed our stay.

The reception was definitly unwelcoming with the customers who had book by internet. We really had the feeling that the staff didn't trust foreigners as we had to pay in advance the whole stay ( 2 rooms for 8 nights) If one of the bedroom was quiet, it wasn't obviously the same with the other one : this one was situated near the reception, and during the whole nights we were awake by the calls. And which is an ad-lie, there isn't any internet connexion in the rooms ( it isn't possible to get connexion with your own computer even if you have already paid)

I will return to this hotel, which is located in a good location in respect to Rome historical center and close to the train station. The room was clean every day and the breakfest was excellent.

Frontdesk staff was rude and indifferent to guests. When we approached day-time front-desk man with questions, he treated as like we were putting him out. We asked the front desk to notify us when tour guide arrived, and tour guide states that front desk told him we were not guests at holel. Then, he tried to sell us tour thru hotel, instead at higher price. Facilities need cleaning as well. Would not recommend.

A group of 6 of us booked into this hotel for its good location, and room availability. We booked a twin and a quad room. The twin consisted of two single beds pushed together; the quad was 2 single beds and two single beds pushed together. The quad room was in a separate building, the room itself stank of damp, the carpet and bedding were also damp, the heating did not work, the toilet seat fell off, there was rust and damage around the shower and the bathroom floor became very wet. We complained about this the following evening and were told we could move but not until the next day. The new room was in the main building and was fine (just don't plug your hairdryer in!) The continental breakfast was what you'd expect, the receptionists were fantastic, moved us quickly, booked the Rome by Night tour for us (which is fantastic) and booked our taxi to the airport too. There was some building work going on when we were there and the lift was out of order, hopefully this should improve the hotel ready for the peak season. There is a fantastic restaurant 5 mins away, turn left out of the hotel and it's on you left, it's called Crazy Sheep, many locals seem to eat there so that’s always a good sign. We went in at 1am and were rustled up some delicious food

Hotel Bled was situated very well close to the metro which is very important for a tourist.AHotel is located on a noisy street but if you get a room in the back side I guess there won't be any problem.Breakfast was not bad if you consider the price and it is included.Staff was speaking enough english to help.Rooms were very clean housekeeping was doing their job perfect!Rome hotels are usually very expensive. So Hotel Bled was great with it's humble price.I recommend it.

Staff surley, to the point of rudeness, we were moved to 'their other hotel' (Danielle)as no rooms at Hotel Bled despite booking well in advance, rooms clean but shabby, shower dirty and air conditioning "not available", large rubbish bins outside window emptied (very nosily) at around midnight every night. Breakfast poor, bread stale, meat & cheese dry and curling at the edges, fruit the same (not changed) during our stay. Understanding of English seemed poor though I think was a good excuse on their part to get out of explaining why we could not stay at Bled and why the air con' could not be switched on!It was alot further than 100m to the underground. Whilst we had a 'cheap holiday' many people would have paid alot more for the same awful service

Hotel Bled in Rome, Italy, has a unique style. It offers an excellent service (including very good food). Also, its location is very close to a metro station, and at a walking distance from the Basilica of St. John at Lateran. Highly recommended.

We stayed at Hotel Bled for a week and found it very clean and the staff friendly (and they speak good English). It is 15 minutes walk from The Colosseum, 25 mins from Termini and only 4 mins from Manzone Underground station, which we tended to use as it was easy to get to Spanish Steps and Termini from the underground. The area surrounding the hotel is fine and the only downside to the hotel is that it is on a main road so is a little noisy. Recommended

Hotel was very nice, clean, central, parking was also excellent and very safe which was very important for us. Price was good. Breakfast buffet was also very good since we had got used to a cup of coffee and one croissant on our tour of Italy up to then, so the buffet was a nice surprise! Bit of a mix-up when checking out and 1 person attending to 5 guests simultaneously which led to them forgetting to give me our passports back and me also forgetting to ask for them. Phoned the next day and asked for them to be sent to us which was to be no problem. 1 week has now passed - no passports - but I haven't given up hope. Will wait another couple of days and phone again. Quite anxious about this as very important documents! Otherwise everything to our satisfaction, in fact above standard.

Bled is a nice hotel but quite old in it's decor. It's like there waiting for a general collapse for it to be re-vamped. We had a leak in our room one night through the ceiling and I had to make a few enquiries before it was fixed. All in all though the staff were nice and pleasant and it was reasonably good value for money

The Hotel Bled was a lovely hotel, with welcoming staff, a fabulous breakfast spread, and located in a very convenient area of Rome - within walking distance to the centre of ancient Rome, and many more wonderful sites are easily reached on the Metro, a station for which is very near by. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel, or to stay there again.

As expected, rooms in ***star hotel are decent but not luxurious. However, all elements available must work. Bedlamp: it took several requests before it was repaired. Our daily fight with sliding doors of the wardrobe was a daily nuisance. On the day of our departure the elevator was out of order: a helping hand with the transport of luggage from the third floor would have been appreciated.

When we checked in the concierge was very rude to us. We also received a room which was supposed to have air conditioning and did not. At first it would turn off after a half an hour but then we realized it was not blowing cool air at all. Do not go to this hotel, you will regret it. We were not the only ones with the problem either. They would not give us another room and suggested we go to the police if we had a problem!!! Do not stay here, you were warned.
