A low-budget hotel which has an exceptional realtionship between price and quality. Typical italian breakfast with white bread, sweets and coffee. Friedly and helpful staff at the reception. Very closed to railway station Roma Termini with underground and bus lines.

Close to the Train/bus station, excellent for quick get away in morning. I was given my room at 10.00am not just store the bags on early arrival. All staff spoke enough English to get by all very polite.

The bed was clean and comfortable, the room had wallpaper falling off and the bathroom was the bare minimum, although it had clean towels and hot water. The staff was friendly, had me checked out in no time to catch the train. Location right by the train station, very convenient. CM

Good location, near to the Roma Termini, but the neighborhood doesn't seems so safe at night. Old decoration of the hotel but rooms were clean and spacious and the bathroom looked new. The personal at the front desk were not so friendly.

There was an odd smell in the bathroom but I have smelt it in other places in the city so it might be the drainage. Other wise the room was really clean and since I had emailed I would be arriving late in the evening I was greeted by name upon my arrival. When I couldn't figure out how to turn the light on in the bathroom the gentleman left the front desk in order to show me how to do it. I thought the price was a little high but it was Easter Sunday which is the high season in Rome. I didn't realise it was Easter until I had already booked my trip so the prices may be better at other times. The map needs to be a little clearer as it is really a left turn out of the train staion and few blocks down but you wouldn't know it by looking at the map. The staff was very nice.

Don't let the description fool you. This place has not been recently renovated. It was not worth the money. Although it was close to Termini the rooms were old, bathroom floor dirty. The shower didn't even have a holder for the shower head! i would recommend staying somewhere other than this...not worth the money for what you get!

Good location. Handy for transport and restaurants. A basic hotel but clean with comfortable bed. Air conditioning is there, but not very effective. Towels changed every day. Staff very friendly. Arrived early in morning and were given our room immediately, which was great given we had just flown half way round the world and needed a shower! Forewarned by other travellers we knew not to keep any clothes or towels near the shower as there is no curtain & water floods out onto floor (very common thing in Italy we found). For a great, well priced meal try the nearby restaurant Al Vonturno Del Molise (Wolves of Molise) on the Via Calatafimi, 11 (hidden by a scafold at corner of road)Food choices were more interesting than fancier places on main streets, much more reasonable priced and as bonus there is always something happening in the street to entertain!

Not a very welcoming environment. Front desk staff were very stiff and uninformative. It is near the Termini train station and provides a decent base for exploring Rome. You won't want to spend too much time in the room, it is rather depressing. But the value was good for Rome and our two female traveling companions from the US quickly adapted to the space.

Our room was in dire need of paint and removal of spider webs. The airconditioner worked ok, but not great. The breakfest was mediocre, with the staff attendant not too friendly. The location was fine and the room spacious, but it was quiet.

DO NOT STAY IN THIS HOTEL! What a disappointment. Our greeter was not friendly. Our room was horrible, considering that we read that the rooms had been "refurbished". Not true. They were plain and depressing. The bathroom had mildew in the shower, a damp wet spot on the bathroom ceiling and a horrible smell, a combination of sewage and mold. Breakfast was dried bread, orange juice and lukewarm coffee. We had to take a taxi to the airport the next morning, and we asked two different employees about how much it would cost and the distance. Both said it would cost about 50 euros and take at least 45 minutes to get there (the Rome Campiano airport). They were very eager to call us a cab. We just walked outside, caught a cab which cost us 20 euros and took about 20 minutes. Looks like there was definetely a kick-back between the hotel and the taxi company. The two pluses about this hotel is that it was close to the train station and walking distance to a fabulous archeological museum. We found a really nice hotel called the Hotel Amelia, right around the corner, which cost 150 euros and would have been a lovely place to stay, had we not had this reservation at the Bianca. I can't believe what others have said about this place. It was the most depressing, unfriendly hotel during our 3 weeks in Europe. And it was definetely not worth 120 euros. One should not pay more than 60 euros for this dump.

The central location of this hotel made a 3 day visit to Rome to see some of the sites very easy. It is a 3 minute walk from the stop for the coach to and from Caimpino Airport. Very good for the price and I would go there again.

The staff was very friendly, and was able to speak in English, Italian or French depending who was on shift. The breakfast room was charming, with a nice breeze coming in over the balcony. Air conditioning worked extremely well! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! But the shower was repulsively mildewy in the grout, especially around the edges and ceiling. A little bleach (and a better fan) would cure that...And the window could use some paint. One thing we found odd is that every morning we would be intruded on by our maid -- standing in our room! Warning and ample time to answer would have been preferable. We had asked for a room for ourselves and our son, and found it a bit strange we had to each sleep in twin beds. At breakfast I requested both decaf and regular coffee and we received a single pot. No mention that there wasn't any decaf (or regular perhaps?). The standard breads/butter/jam. We did like running up and down the stairs to the 5th floor, but did use the elevator to cart our luggage. The elevator was barely large enough for the 3 suitcases and 2 day packs, plus a person to push the buttons. But it worked, so there you go. Despite being just a block away from the train/bus terminal, the room was much quieter overall than the room we had earlier on our trip on Via Nazionale. Location was perfect, and being on the 5th floor we had no windows across from us, so it felt private. Internet cafe 2 doors down, and a cafe at the corner that had yummy pastries and dinner. 3 ATMs within a block.

Excellent location. We were given a very large room as the room we originally requested did not have two beds. Bathroom was large and very nice. The only complaint would be the surrounding area doesn't have many restaurants or shops, unless you go closer to the train station.

This hotel is very average and very old. It definitely requires renovation. The service was OK but not very good. Breakfast was very basic and simple; every morning it was exactly the same... However the coffee was fine and enough. Location was not bad. Hotel is located very close to the train station and all the main rout buses. You can reach all the main historical attractions by walking approximately 15-20min.

we found that although the hotel was a bit worn aound the edges, the rooms were clean and comfortable. the staff were amiable and eager to help. three nights into our stay we asked to change rooms because of the extreme street noise in the front of the hotel, this was accomplished with a minimum of fuss and we slept well for the rest of our stay. We would recommend Hotel Bianca for anyone who enjoys a small family run pensione type hotel. The location, while far from glamorous is well suited to anyone using Rome's wonderful transit system to get around. Jim and Karen

My short stay for three nights at hotel Bianca was very nice. The hotel is located in an old building very near to station Termini. The first impression when I entered the building was a somewhat stuffy smell. Nevertheless the hotel was reasonably clean. The personnel was very friendly although some of them spoke only a very little english. My room was located at the back side of the hotel and was actually nice and quiet. When you're planning a short stay and you're looking for a reasonably priced hotel near station Termini I recommend hotel Bianca.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, but did not speak good English, so communication was limited (our Italian is very poor !). The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was simple, but adequate, though the coffee was always luke warm. However, the door handle to the bathroom was fixed incorrectly, so that one could not shut the door from the inside without locking oneself; I reported it, but it was not fixed while we were there. The toilet seat also came off, and this was fixed while we were there, but I felt the design was poor, so this was liable to happen again. Generally though, because we liked the staff, the location was very convenient, and the price was reasonable, we would consider staying again.

This was the worst hotel i have ever stayed at in my entire life, and I have traveled a fair amount for both business and pleasure. The staff was extremely unhelpful and rude. The place was not clean, it was noisy and offered little to no amenities. On top of everything, the hotel 'closes' at 2am and if you come in after that, like I did, they yell at you. Apparently, there is a curfew even though you pay to stay there. In addition, they said we were not allowed to have guests in the room - again, I paid for my room and as long as I don't destroy anything, I should be able to have anyone in the room I want. They said because I was a woman, I was not allowed to have male guests at night. THIS IS A HORRIBLE HOTEL. DO NOT STAY HERE FOR ANY REASON. THEY ARE RUDE, UNHELPFUL AND CONFRONTATIONAL.

Excellent central location, spotlessly clean with spacious accommodation. Pleasant dining room with a wonderful Continental breakfast and plenty of hot coffee included in price. Decor of rooms is not modern and furniture basic but this does not deter from the comfortable stay. Extremely close to rail and bus terminals. I have no major critiscm of the hotel. It is however very basic in terms of the facilities offered. Specifically the abscence of tea/coffeee making facilities in the rooms is a big drawback. Also the shower facility could be better if a shower curtain was available.

I can thoroughly recommend this hotel, particularly if you need to be close to Termini station but prefer not to be right on top of it. The Bianca is a friendly and welcoming hotel 5 minutes walk from Termini station. Breakfast is good, the staff are friendly and helpful and our room was very large with a large bathroom and the best shower I have had in all my years of travelling to Rome. It is also close enough to allow you to walk to places like Trevi fountain or the Pantheon in about 20 minutes and is only two stops from the Colosseum. I can thoroughly recommend this hotel.

The room was overpriced for the quality, but I think that's how most of Rome is, epecially at Easter. The staff were nice enough, breakfast was very basic (bread and coffee), and the location was convenient. Our room was in the back and we had a small balcony over a courtyard, so there was no outside noise. But the cleaning staff were very loud outside our room early in the mornings and the bathroom in our room was kind of strange. It was our first trip to Rome and was fine for 3 days, but I wouldn't stay here again, and would instead search early for a better value.

The staff was quite knowledgable and welcoming, informaing us of our telephone calls and giving directions. However, we had asked for a double and got a room with two twin beds room pushed together . . . You can imagine the problem. Althought the staff said we could remedy the situation the following day, we were only there one night. Also, the towels were of extremely poor quality. (They were the consistencey of dinner naplins, rather than absorbant shower towels). Realizing that this is a budget hotel, I know we couldn't expect much. However, the Bianca is the type of place where you basically want to get up and out of. Not a bad option if you need a cheap place by the train station, but don't plan to spend a lot of time there.

Also walking distance from eateries of various prices and a couple of museums which one of them has an excellent mosaic colletion. How to reach Hotel Bianca
