Too much noise in the morning (single room located near to the breakfast room with little space inside). Breakfast poor with poor quality of food. Breakfast room very little: maximum 20 people (you must wait the queue of people to eat).

My booking was changed to Hotel Patria just around the corner in Via Torino. But it was absolute okay. Even the single room wasn't too small. So for the price/value I can recommend it. Nice staff and very central. Next to the station, the tube, bars and restaurants.

The room smelled of stale smoke and the carpet was old and dirty. I twice saw a cockroach run accross the floor. Once in the bedroom and once in the bathroom.

It's ideal, if you spend the day in the city, and all you need is bed and breakfast. pros: Good place (close to the Termini, metro, Vittorio Emanuelle), cheap

the hotel offers centrally managed air condition that is a real pain for hot days/evenings in Rome. The breakfast room is so tiny that you will suffer from trying to find a free seat, and even if you find the one, you will be squeezed between neighbours. And never take the room 65. its only window exits to internal yard, right over the industrial vents, so the all hot air flows into your room and make your stay a real torture.

I REALLY STAYED IN THE PATRIA HOTEL VERY CLOSE TO THE AUGUSTEA SO MY OPINION IS ABOUT PATRIA NOT AUGUSTA. AUGUSTEA RECEPTION WAS A LITTLE DISAPPOINTING AND THEN WE WERE MOVED TO THE PATRIA HOTEL JUST NEXT CORNER AT THE SAME PRICE. ONLY PROBLEM WAS BREAKFAST ROOM WAS SO SMALL WE HAD TO QUEUE FOR 20 MINUTS TO GET ONE TABLE AND SEAT FACING TO THE WALL. HOTEL SAID THE ROOM WAS GOING TO BE IMPROVED VERY SOON. ASK BEFORE GOING OR WAKE UP EARLY. BREACKFAST WAS POOR ON VARIETY AND QUALITY BUT ENOUGH TO WAIT FOR LUNCH TIME

The Hotel was located in beaut position close to trains, bus connections and within easy walking distance to many landmarks. The staff was friendly, helpful and accommodating. There was a wide range of choices for dining and shopping on any budget nearby the hotel. I would be prepared to stay there again in the future. I was travelling with a friend that I sing and perform with.

The Hotel Augustea was extremely central for all of ROme's major sites and clost to the train station. The breakfast room was a bedroom converted and extremely small. No real reception area. we had to carry up heavy suitcases up a lot of stairs - not suitable for older people who could not have done this.

the room we stayed in was quite literally a box room, we were offered a bigger room for the following day but declined it because it was only going to be a place we slept at night so it didnt bother us. staff were very friendly and welcoming, even got a little sweet when we arrived. breakfast was a bowl of cornflakes, im not keen on cornflakes, and some glazed crossonts, spelt wrong i know. better of going down street and getting a resturant, but it was good enough to fill a hole. spent the most part of our stay out and about and having reception open all day everyday was handy.

Posizione splendida a 2 passi da tutto. Camera pulita e con tutto l'occorrente sia per brevi che lunghi soggiorni. Ottima via di mezzo tra lo spartano e il lusso.Secondo me da consigliare.
