Hotel Appia Park - Rome

Very nice hotel, close to the highway. The room was very confortable and quiet.

Improve breakfast quality

We were 3 adult females, mother and 2 daughters requiring accomodation close to the airport for an early morning flight. This was an ideal location for that purpose and also gave us a small opportunity to take the local bus service into Central Rome. The room was comfortable, spacious with a wonderful bathroom. The breakfast and service was wonderful. thank you. I will recommend this hotel.

An excellent hotel - the best one of our European trip. Courteous, helpful staff, great surrounds, excellent breakfast. We loved the hotel and will always stay there when we visit Rome. We also liked the location and the easily accessible and cheap transport to the city.

We found the hotel as described, and indeed it is very convenient to both Rome and the Airport. We did have a problem coming from the direction of the airport in that finding somewhere to turn right proved very difficult! The initial welcome was very unfriendly and we had to wait about 15 mins before the room was ready. The room itself was large although there was no shower and I was under the impression that with it being a Junior suite we would have a balcony. Also, it was at the very top of the stairs so any noise traveled up! Not to sound too negative, the location was excellent and we were able to park our car at the hotel.

The structure is to the inside of the main way, therefore it is much silent one. It's very near the south center of Rome and has good restaurants in the outskirtses.

We missed the oportunity visit the restaurant in the evening.

Excellent for access to Ciampino airport, the GRA and other routes out of Rome, but also only about 35-40 minutes from Central Rome by bus/metro.

Wonderful hotel, very clean, very comfortable, the breakfast was great, the staff more than helpful, the only problem we had was finding somewhere close to eat at night. This is a good location to base yourself, close to public transport that takes you straight into the heart of Rome with ease. We would stay again for sure.

The very few negatives on this review are more my fault than that of the Hotel. Everything at the Hotel was first rate, nice people, good rooms. But I'm a University Professor, not a business man, and I should have investigated the hotel's location more fully. It is too far outside the central city to be useful to someone who needs to go to the Vatican daily. So I spent in Taxis what I saved in Location, which is pleasantly surreal but time consuming. And one other thing: huge, screaming families - just arrived and giddy with jetlag and anticipation - should not be placed next to a man who has left a wakeup call for 4am. Especially when the hotel is less than half full. Other than that I loved the place.

Very good, but we had to move by ourselves into another room because of an electrical failure.
