The single room on the 1st floor has a sight on the termini station. the room was very noisy. On the 1st night the windows broke so I had to support the noise all night. The breakfast was very light. There was not enought choise.

We had a wonderful 5 days in Rome. The hotel was superbly located near the Metro, so travel to anywhere in Rome was on the doorstep. And only 1 euro to travel anywhere. Make sure you request a room at the back of the hotel so you are not on the main road. Our room was spacious and quiet, and cleaned to an excellent standard every day. The staff were very helpful. Breakfast is good enough, but basic. It's worth booking excursion tours, but check prices and compare.

Handily located for the trains/coaches to and from the airport. We arrived over one hour before check in time but our room was available. Areas around major railway stations attract 'colourful' characters and this is no exception but never felt uncomfortable, just watch your pockets as you would do anywhere in any city. Breakfast poor, other than that couldn't fault Hotel Aphrodite.

We came for a week to the hotel. Excelent location near the Metro with transportation to anywhere in Rome and a direct train from/to De-Vinchi airport. Lovely crow and good prices (we came in end Oct.-begining of Nov.). Breakfast was very nice. Only problem we heard the water pipe that was behind the wall all the time.

The bathroom was very small and the toilet was squezeed in bitween the shower and the wall. The showercabin very small also. The aircondition was sufficient but not moore. We stayed in two singlerooms i cant say anything about the doublerooms. There was a restaurant 20 meter up the street from the hotel that was good enough if you wanted to eat close to the hotel.

This hotel is located infront of the termini. Rooms were clean and quiet. But clean were slow. You would leave your room at 9.00 and come back at 12.00 and find that your room would still not be clean. They got to our flopr around 2.00 or 3.00. We were on the 3rd FLOOR! Breakfast was fine. But we ate the same everday. We had trouble opening the tv because it open when you open the main light. No one told us.But apart from that it we had a pleased stay. They give rooms free airconditioning.

gave us double bedroom, but charged us for a quadruple; they expected 2 people to sleep on a sofa bed. no space to move around at all. the showers not working properly, one second wud be cold water the other really hot water. the AC not working at all, only as fan. we stayed for 5 nights, they did not change the bedsheets once. The frontdesk not helpful. do not provide any services at all everything is charged extra. the breakfast was good, but the breakfast staff were kids, who were noisy and always making fun of tourists and laughing too much.

The location of the hotel was great. Easy acess to the metro, train station and bus station. There was a grocery store across the street along with an ATM machine. It was a clean place to stay... fresh towels everyday. Our safe didn't work and we notified the front desk. It needed a new battery but they didn't get one they two nights we stayed. The room was pretty small. We stayed in a quad room and our kids had two single bed and we had a pull out sofa bed. To make room we folded the bed back up to move around without bumping into each other. Our A/C wouldn't get cool. I asked for a fan but they didn't have any. It was blowing around the air. Maybe try not to come during the summer. When we went to check out their credit card machine didn't work.

Consiglio vivamente.

The hotel is fine, good clean room but poor breakfast.Location great specially if you need to catch early or late trains and walking distance from touristic places. I spent just one night. The street is noisy and if your room is on the first floors it can be annoying. Price...it's always expensive to get a single room!

The location is perfect for me as single woman traveler. Just acros Termini. Since my room is in 4th floor its not noisy at all as long as you close the window. Room & bathroom is clean and modern but extremly small. This hotel is not for larger people as it will not easy to move around. The surrounding is safe. My dissapointment is that the room was not ready until 5 eventhough I arrive at 2 (as been informed to the hotel) & the lady at the reception is not very friendly nor polite and keep on shouting while I & several other guests waiting for our rooms to be ready.

Handily located room for train station/transfer coaches to airport and close to major tourist attractions. The area the hotel is located in tends to attract some 'colourful' characters but we felt 100% safe at all times. This is our second visit to Aphrodite and we would certainly recommend it. Only let down is the poor breakfast but this seems pretty standard for Rome hotels.

Excellent location, very close to central station (<50m). Lot of fast food restaurant nearby & internet centre, and supermarket just infront of hotel. Hotel interior are newly renovated, so room was nice and very clean but a bit small for triple bed. Breakfast are basic but sufficient. We stay here for 3 days and very happy with the services. Due to no room available on the fouth day, we move to other hotel with more expensive but found interm of quality much less than Aprhodite hotel. Recommend this hotel to anyone, and definitly will stay again in this hotel next time.

Having read that the hotel is a good choice for mobility impaired travelers, I wrote them an email after booking, saying that I needed access with NO steps and sufficiently large elevator for my electric scooter. They wrote back saying no problem. However, when we arrived I saw there was one step into the hotel entrance. They were surprised and had to go check with their own eyes (that happened both first evening and with a different clerk in morning). We had to make our own provisions with phone books (they assisted), boards and cardboard. It worked out all right but should be noted for future guests. No problem with elevator.

Convenient location for sightseeing, 20 minutes walk to either Colosseum or Trevi Fountain. Handy for transport to/from airport, directly opposite train station or shuttle buses 200 metres along road. The down side was the number of vagrants in this area although they gave us no bother. Spacious, clean room with a massive bed, small shower cubicle though. Breakfast was the only minus point cheap cornflakes, 'plastic' cheese/cold meat etc. Would certainly recommend the Aphrodite however and would stay there again.

I was in Rome for six nights in this hotel and it's a very good place to stay. The relationship between price/quality is really good for a hotel in Rome. The staff is very nice as well as the room, that was quite small but very very new. It's in front of the main transport station, it's a great avantatge but the inconvenient is that the neigbourhood seems a litle dangerous at nights, but we didn't have any problem.I would stay there if I went once more to Rome

The hotel is very close to the main train station and is ideally situated for the short stay traveller. We arrived one day earlier than our booking but the reception staff were very helpfull and fixed us with our room. We asked for certain directions and all were marked on a map for us which was supplied by the staff at recption. A bit noisey but considering the situation near the station it was good value

Sehr angehemes und neues Hotel. Verkehrsmässig sehr gut gelegen - 2min. vom Busbahnhof entfernt. Frühstück für diesen Preis okay, guter ital. Cappucino inbegriffen.

One suggestion: That hotel uses 'Do not disturb' or 'Room available for cleaning' signs. Every morning staff were knocking and entering at quite an early time. Noise level scored poorly as there appeared to be renovation work being carried out somewhere in building. Also the cleaning lady seemed intent on making as much noise as possible when cleaning neighbouring rooms! Overall, however stay was excellent, decor was lovely, and staff were very pleasant.

I found the employees very welcoming and helpful. The rooms were small but very clean, as was the rest of the hotel and well furnished. The only drawback was the breakfast room, which was tiny. The area of the hotel was excellent for sightseeing as it was opposite the metro, pity about the tramps that tend to congregate, although they never bothered us. Overall a very cheap, very clean modern hotel, with excellent staff and near to transport for sightseeing, ideal for travellers on a budget.

The room was on second floor, right next to a street lamp that lit up the whole room almost like it was a relatively bright morning the whole night. Furthermore, curtains were hanging uselessly so they could not be drawn to cover the windows. Bad sleep the whole stay. Room and bathroom were clean, and the location was great since we arrived and left by train. Staff was rude (with the exception of the barista in the breakfast room). And what was worst: they overcharged us 100 euros for the four nights. Hotel's contact information is impossible to find, and even the email address from which we received a note of our room being "a twin double and not a queen double" does not seem to have anybody reading it. So instead of the promised 380 they charged 480 and to the date (three months after the trip) have not made anything to refund the excess amount. So, word of warning: when in Rome, keep an eye on what the Romans do!

Views from any room aren't great but beside train station is great! Terrace was nice in warm weather but no view. Luggage storing area is not controlled or guaranteed safe. We were told to go to the train station and wait for hours and pay a lot if we want to be certain of our bags' safety. Awesome Chinese food around the corner. No problem with getting a breakfast table if you go between 7:30 and 8:30 but food and cappuccino are mediocre.
