The directions for how to get to Antico Casale need to be updated, but other than that, some of the best service we had on our stay in Italy. The food is absolutely WONDERFUL, and the helpstaff were genuine in their concern about making our stay a great one. The rooms are a bit small, but the beds are comfortable, and the breakfast was good and plentiful. The bathroom is cozy, but well-kept. The only problem we had with the location was trying to find our way to it the first time. Because it's situated outside of Rome, I would highly suggest taking the 808 in to the city and then the H. It was a wonderful way to get aquainted with Rome!

There is no reason to stay at this hotel. Although it seemed to be quite clean and is pretty outside, this hotel had mostly very bad points: - No elevator. With 2 women and a child, I had to carry ALL the luggage up 2 floors. - "Air conditioning" SUCKED. It did not even blow cold air; I think it was just a fan. Our rooms on the top floor were VERY HOT, even after the staff adjusted it. The window and skylight window could be opened...but had no screen to keep out insects! - No heat for winter time??? I did not see any. - Top floor rooms are intruded by the roof, and therefore very small. I felt like I was in Tokyo again. - The bathrooms did not have door! Just a sliding panel which did not even seal the room, and which could be seen into from the hallway if the room door was open. - the walls are thin and there is a gap at the door bottom = you hear ALL NOISES. Frankly, if I was not so tired from driving all day, and because it was late at night, I would have gone to a different hotel. Mostly, it was the air conditioning.

By car
From the Grande Raccordo Anulare ring-road, take exit number 32 Roma-Ponte Galeria-via della Pisana and proceed along via della Pisana for around 3.5 km. The property is situated on the left.

By train
From the Roma Termini railway station, take the underground line A towards Battistini and get off at the Cornelia stop; then take bus line 981 directly to the hotel. The hotel may provide a shuttle transfer from Cornelia upon request.

By airplane
From the Fiumicino airport, take the inter-regional FR1 train for one stop to Ponte Galeria, then take bus line 808 which drops you off in front of the hotel. The hotel may provide a shuttle transfer from the airport upon request.
