i am sorry to give a very bad comment here about the hotel. I never thought i could meet such poor sevice in Roma, the city i am in love with! a few examples below: 1; our room was arranged close to the street, had to suffer the noice from outside, and been told no any available room could be changed. OK, i understand it is possible in a hot season. 2; the airconditioner didn't work and has been told the MAYOR in the city issued such policy that hotel in this area was not allowed to switch on airconditioner. BUT, what we heard from hotels nearby is it is just controled by hotel owner or staffs. We understand maybe the hotel owner asked staff not to operate airconditioner, but why the staff lied to us that was MAYOR saying so?! 3; the internet in the room didn't work, and been told "sorry,u have to wait till tomorrow", and that is all! 4; the most fantastic thing happened when we were doing check out, the receptionist was very impatient when we wanted to check the receipt by ourselves, SHE said "OK, you check till tomorrow...". i was amazed such a bad service has been provided in this 3 stars hotel, and seems will continue to when GOD knows... The location and the breakfast of the hotel is surelly ok and even good, but the PEOPLE working there, are surely sorry!

The hotel is in a quiet street and close to Termini station and buses to the city centre. The rooms facing the courtyard are rather dark but very quiet. The shower does not look clean (mold) and should be replaced. Beds are very comfortable and the room is clean. Breakfast is above average. We were there for a week and enjoyed our stay in the hotel.

Room was small, but I expected that. The bed was quite hard, but I didn't mind. There is a bar across the street which was loud well into the weekend nights I stayed there, so I had to keep the windows closed -- may want to request a room away from the front of the building.

Small room, reasonable quality. Dated/old interiour. Very small shower. Walking distance from Termini central trainstation. Internet in the room was not working. Internet in the loby was too expensive alternative EURO 5,00 for 5 minutes needed. Late checkout (15:00) too expensive, only possible for EURO 40,00 extra. Alternative was to leave luggage at the reception for free.

The entrance of the hotel is being refurbished and it seemd it has been that way for a long time because there was no apparent progress during our stance there. Maintenance is not very good either. There was a room with a large marble piece in the doorframe that suddenly fell down and other pieces for other rooms seemed to be also not very well glued. Rooms were too small. The cleaning service was poor. We stayed for a week and during this time bed sheets were not replaced even when we indicated it. In addition there was stuff from previous guests that remained in the drawers what proves that cleaning had not been thorough. WC was not cleaned very often either. Breakfast variety was sometimes scarce. Juices were always powder juice with barely no taste. When finished, food was not refilled promptly. We even had no fresh bread one day. On the other hand, there were some other food that was really good. We wish have found a better hotel for our honey moon. Our doubt is how are the hotels nearby or even other rooms/floors in this one. The positive: breakfast was usually good enough, people in the reception desk were very attentive, the room was quiet and it is really close to the Termini Station (we went walking the last day loaded with the baggage). Surroundings are not perfect but they are handy. You can find plenty of restaurants (not good restaurants but this seems to be something common in Rome), a couple of supermarkets, the train station, two Metro stations ...

The Andreotti helped make our short stay in Rome even more memorable. Our standard double room was clean and well presented and the king size (6ft) bed was comfortable. The breakfast could have been better but was adequate for our needs. The staff were very helpful and spoke good English. We would definitely stay again and recommend it to others.

My husband and I spent 4 nights at the Andreotti and 3 days sightseeing in Rome. We really enjoyed our stay and would certainly recommend the hotel to others. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff were very pleasant and there was a good choice of fayre for breakfast. Our only complaint would be that the water in the shower was rather tepid on three out of the four mornings we stayed. The Andreotti was in easy reach of all main attractions. We recommend buying a two-day ticket on the open-top sightseeing bus which you can get on and off as many times as you like (very good value). On our first morning we took the full two hour round trip to get a general overview of the city then got off at the attractions we wanted to see.

Excellent buffet breakfast. Some of the rooms had wood flooring and were very nice. The decor is dated but quaint and clean. The antiquated elevator was charming. Hotel accessible by car but parking is obviously a problem. The walk to the centre (eg, Fontana di Trevi)was about 15min at a brisk place.

For our mid-Oct weekend stay Hotel Andreotti proved to be a good base for exploring Rome. On a fairly quiet side street an easy 10 min walk from Termini station made it bonus for arriving by train. Bus and subway access readily available. Slightly east of the core of central Rome although most of the attractions were within a 10-30 min walk( as subway system is limited in some directions anyway).Reception was welcoming and helpful. Elevator available. Web pics are fairly accurate to actual facilities. Our room and bath was clean and somewhat spacious for European stds but room did have a slight sewer odour upon initial entry which freshened up with the window opened a bit for a few minutes. We had a problem with keyboard for in-room internet but lobby access was available, although neither was free. Breakfast room was fairly large and clean and had a nice variety of food choices. Overall an enjoyable stay at a nice, fairly central location. 128 euros/double/night seemed appropriate given the season/weekend for Rome/Italy

The richness of the decor in the rooms has an old-world European charm .It was confortable and quiet. The staff was most helpful in giving suggestions and organizing a very early morning pick-up to the aeroport. If the hotel was located closer(easy walking distance) to the historical center of the city, it would be ideal in all respects.

Very nice welcome in this hotel. Personnel provide good advice and are very helpfull. Central location that permits to visit correctly Rome downtown. We had a very calm room at the back of the hotel. Breakfast is average but still sufficient to support the day visit program. Space is not common in Italian hotel but our room provides enough room for 2 adults and 1 child (6 years old) in a triple.

We stayed in a double room at the rear of the hotel, which I found nice and quiet. Ok, it didn't have a view per say but we were happy with what we had. Staff were very courteous and eager to help and it was a very pleasant stay. I would most certainly recommend to friends and family. It is placed a little out of the way however we found it easy enough to make our way around the city. Very reasonable, and a pleasant place to stay. Thank you.

The hotel is quite nice, even if it is a little old. Employees at the desk are ready to give information and to help you. The main drawback of the hotel is the presence of a restaurant/pub very near to the entrance, and it is open till late in the night. So in the morning it may happen to find the walkway very dirty, but above all if you have a room on the back you cannot open the window, because the smelling of the restaurant will get into your room, and it is really bad. On the contrary if you have a room on the front of the building you will hear the noise of the customers of the pub, who usually get drunk . . . The only solution is to ask for a room on the back, but on the other side of the building with respect to the restaurant (there are two little courts on the back). Those are good.

1. the map should be more clear for first come tourist. 2. the bedroom is too small , especially the place of shower and the trashcan is out of ouder. 3. close the airconditioner at 6:00AM, if could, I think 8:00 AM is better. 4. the breadfast is good, but when we check out,the employees ask how many fruit we eat, should pay additional charge, it really confuse me, which was the first time we met, and I didn't remember is there any sign to annouence fruit charge.

The air conditioning system in the guest rooms was inadequate. Each morning the A/C would be turned off at approx. 7:30 a.m. and was unavailable until approx. 2:30 p.m. Even when it was available, you had to have the room key in the room to provide power for the room. Upon your return from a hot day's sightseeing, your room was hot and did not cool off quickly at all. The front desk employees were very pleasant and helpful and the location was okay.
