what a great little hotel the acropopli was!it was such great value.you get just what you pay for in a no frills hotel.no tv but who cares for a couple of days.great location just 2minutes from termini and two minutes the opposite way to Santa Maria in maggiore basilica one of the finest in Rome. The rooms are big and clean and your bed is made when you get back from your travels.I got a double bed and a single from single use!The only criticism I have is that there were two party's of school children staying which were quite noisy running along the landing at night but they soon calmed down after a while. The staff were great three beautiful Italian girls and two great guys. The one from Mauritius was really friendly.breakfast was typical continental.overall I great stay and will be definitely be going back there next year. thanks for a great stay

The room was awefully dirty, not maintaned at all, the floor had holes in it covered by a rug, a very dirty rug. To get into the bathroom, there was a spet to climb, very wierd. The room had a strange smell, full of stains on the ceiling that weremultiplying by night. The hotel looks nice from outside and spooky from inside, the room leaves the impression of being in a haunted hotel. Overall the price was higly high for th poor servcies recieved.

Pretty happy with this hotel as all I was looking for was location, no frills (i.e. had no tv or hairdryer) and breakfast was typical Italian so can't complain. I wanted a bed in a room and that is what I paid for and got so i'm 10/10 happy.

I've never see a bathroom that small. The room had no TV. I suggest the owners to invest 50 euros to buy one :)

Excellent Hotel for the price. Went with friends - excellent location. Triple room huge, double cramped. So cheap, so easy to get too, great location and helpful staff. Only problem bad smell coming from both the bathrooms but who really cares about that.

La città è ottimamente fornita di mezzi di trasporto. La zona della stazione e i dintorni dell'albergo non sono raccomandabili alla sera. Le stanze nel periodo invernale sono fredde.

The room was decent but when we entered it there was not shower foam. We asked for it and for a phon for the hairs and the only man at the reception told us "Once there were... now there is nothing..." The smell inside the room was of full sink... It was ok for sleeping 5 hours as we needed... but to stay more than one day... I think it's a bit too not clean... Regards

We left after our first night! We have stayed in budget hotels all over Europe and this is the first time we found a different hotel after one night. Rugs were ripped, bed was broken, and the room looked like it had not been cleaned in months. The "breakfast" consists of coffee and rolls. Not even juice, tea, or any other food.
