Breakfast was better than our quite low expetations for Italian breakfast. Do not have any other meals at the hotel before they have changed their kitchen policies!!! Dinner at the hotel was definately our worst meal in Rome - all three courses.

The hotel is hardly worth 3 stars and definitely not 4. Though it is quite ok but anybody would be disappointed while expecting 4 stars service.

The food served for breakfast was delicious. The cleanliness and all the service was more than expected. So it is a great hotel. The only disadvantage is its distance from the center part of the city. It takes like 35minute to get by bus to the Vatican. And the buses are rare.

Breakfast: bad coffee, cheap ham, sometimes old bread...;Acc: small room, but ok; Staff: had a firealarm at night with no assistance from the staff - unorganized and unexplained; Location: try to get closer to the Termini station next stay will give more benefit to walking distances while sightseeing; Overall: nice first try, gonna do better next stay ;)

Hotel is situated in nice and quite residential area, nice garden behind hotel, small and nice local market on Piazza Monteleone di Spoleto in front of hotel, variety of small shops and cafes in surrounding blocks, Carefour supermarket 100m away on the same street. But must have in mind, that hotel is quite far for city center.public transportation is very cheap 1.50eur per ticket for 75 minutes for bus/metro. Bus No32 stops about 250m from hotel. It takes 25 minutes to get to Otaviano metro station, or last stop on Piazza Risorgimento just near Vatican walls. We enjoyed it tremendously. Highly recommended!!!

The quality of care and service is terrible, the breakfast buffet is better worse better breakfast outside the facility, to be a four star hotel leaves much to be desired I was just a star, there are other hotels in the area offering better service, they charge you to laughter by a disservice not worth it ...

We were very pleased with the Hotel. Easy to get into Rome Centre via bus and Metro once initially having found the hotel. We enjoyed travelling on the buses and metro to get out and about around Rome. Nice eating places and food shops close by.

It's far from center, something like 25 min in a bus, there is no metro station near, the bathroom is very old and no quietness. They offer you a realy good breakfast for such a small price of the room, but there are no hot dishes nor fruits.

Excellent value for money. Hotel is not newest, but still provides 4 star service package, is quite spacious inside. Good food variety for breakfast, decent bar and restaurant. Hotel is situated in nice and quite residential area, nice garden behind hotel, small and nice local market on Piazza Monteleone di Spoleto in front of hotel, variety of small shops and cafes in surrounding blocks, Carefour supermarket 100m away on the same street. But must have in mind, that hotel is quite far for city center. Ideal location if you are in Rome with car. If on feet- public transportation is very cheap 1eur per ticket for 75 minutes for bus/metro. Bus No32 stops about 250m from hotel. It takes 30-40 minutes to get to Otaviano metro station, or last stop on Piazza Risorgimento just near Vatican walls.

Hotel and staff were great. Only a 30 minute walk to "downtown" Roma. Food and beverages were priced competitively. You can get the 32 bus to town but the walk only takes 30 minutes or so and you get to see some of the Roman daylife and sidewalk cafes/bars. We enjoyed it tremendously. Highly recommended as a quieter base for sightseeing travels around Rome. If you are tired after a day's sightseeing you can get a taxi back to the hotel from the Collosseo for around 12-15 Euros.

Overall, a very nice hotel with good rooms and an excellent breakfast. The reception staff there, as a rule, were extremely helpful and accomodating, really pointing us in the right direction when required. However, when the wireless connection was down (along with the rest of the electricity) the member of staff on reception was extremely unhelpful and abrupt (the most unhelpful person we met during or week's stay in Rome - including members of the public!)Not what you would expect from a 4 star hotel (especially after moving to a more welcoming 3 star hotel the following day) We would, however, consider staying there again as, for the price, it was good value for a group of seven - although a 4 star service should not be expected.

There was a lovely very tall gentlemen with glasses on the service desk who was very helpful and a very young gentlemen who was also helpful. The female staff were rude and unhelpful, the other older male staff were unhelpful and smirked when asked simple questions. They were no approachable, and I felt very unsafe not able to ask for help. Not impressed.

nice hotel, but the location map is wrong! it is a good bus ride outside the city, so beware. Having said that, the hotel is clean and comfortable and the surrounding area is good. Breakfast was good too. There is a little bistro on the way to the bus stop (on the left as you go down the hill) they do a great buffet meal deal and the food is awesome and very cheap (in contrast to the city centre!)

this is a no star property billing itself as a four star property. It is a dirty property in a dirty area and the food was incredibly poor. The staff were less than helpful and the computers provided for guest usage were old, slow and far too expensive. In addition after paying 8 euros twice, the computer would not let me log out and accordingly the usage clock kept running and in reality I used the computer twice for a total of around 15 minutes and the balance was stolen. The front desk staff refused to assist and blamed the provider and refused to correct the issue.

It was quiet and breakfast was decent, but you spend a lot of time getting to and from the center of Rome. I was disappointed that I couldn't get any info from the Hotel and how to get there, so let me help you out. Come out of the Termini and face McDonald's, (free toilet if needed) turn right and walk to Metro go down to Metro A line (in direction Baltishini) and get off at Ottaviano. Come up to the street and get on bus 32 across the street from the Tabacci shop. It takes around 30 minutes and 16 stops to the Flaminia/Bevagna stop. Turn right as you step off the bus, go a few feet and turn left, walk around two blocks and turn left, you will then see the Hotel. Don't expect the elegance you see in the on-line photos. Nobody I talked to had a room ready for their arrival, but they will store you luggage. Breakfast is croissants, ham, cheese, yogurt, cereal and various coffees, as much as you like. Orange juice tasted like fresh squeezed. I mixed it with the sparkling water to make it like a mimosa. If you need to park a car for free, this is not a bad places to stay.

It was the 4th time in Rome for a Bowling Tournament. My single room was clean but REALLY small. And in the bathroom the shower was directly on the floor, flooding it every time. If I'll return I'll stay i a double room.

it's not at all a four stars hotel. very old (ex hot and cold water still separated in the bathroom and shower) location too far from Rome center. 30-40 min by bus i couldn't sleep the two nights i stayed because in my floor there were classrooms of students shouting and talking all night long. this wouldn't have happened if they would have given me a room in another floor. many people argued with the reception because of this. a terrible experience.

Visited in February 2011. Weather above +14 C and no tourist influx yet. Public transport in Rome is nothing by price and as a result the stay at this relatavely remote 4 star hotel for the offered price is a very good choice. Shops around offer even better option to enjoy Italian cuisine in your room in hotel. Twice cheaper (than in restaurants)) with better variety. Eventually, excellent option of high quality for moderate price

I was angered by a lot of things. First, my checkin in my email said NOON; however, they wouldn't allow me to check in until 2PM and they gave no good reason. The hotel room was extremely small. The noise was horrible, you heard every word the people in the room above were saying/walking, etc. The service was very cold and reserved and not at all friendly. The location of the hotel was a 30 min bus ride away from an historical sites. However, the hotel was very clean and the prices were very reasonable.

This hotel is nice and clean. It is located outside the centre but it has got good link by bus to the centre and tha main attractions. It is located in typical residential area. The only negative is how unfriendly the staff of this hotel is! We asked few questions to the receptionist and he was not helpful at all. But I think this is general thing in Rome, as we had similar experiences when we visited tourist attractions. This hotel provides good accomodation for a few days visit if you get a good price.

This was definitely a good choice of hotels for the price. It has a 4 star feel to it generally, is in a calm residential neighbourhood, a relatively short bus ride from the centre of town (about 30 minutes to the Vatican, with a bus running every 15 minutes or so.) Our room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was nice. The room service was of a good standard. The television had a few international channels. The room was quiet at night, although not in the morning. The downsides were that the staff was not very friendly and the hotel is not as centrally located as some of the other options in the same price range. All in all we felt it was worth traveling an extra hour per day for the extra comfort.

It is worth staying at this hotel only if you get a very good price offer. The hotel is far from the city center and main train station. You need approximately 30 min - 1 hour to get there from the city center, after 22 o'clock it gets difficult to reach the hotel with the public transport (in fact there is only one bus you can use).
