Staff was very helpful. What struck me was that people's comments were worse than what I experienced, so I expected the hotel to be bad. On the contrary, it is clean and comfortable, maybe too expensive but I could have a nice toasted sandwich and water for 5 euro at the cafe'.

Albergo adatto per convegni ed incontri d'affari. Servizi minimi. Colazione di livello medio. Lontano dal centro solo per chi vuole visitare la zona vaticano.

It was not possible to make calls from the thelephone in the room. The reception said that their system could not allow to make calls if a credit card (not pre-paid card) il not given at the moment of the check in.

20 mins to wait for drinks at the bar when we were the only 2 people. Being given the absolute crappiest room for 150 euro and having to ask for a room change. Very narrow lifts - two people with luggage at a time.

Comportamento assolutamente scorretto (e camere sporche e inadeguate)

The hotel did not represent the facilities accurately. The rooms were not fit for human inhabitance. An open construction site was adjacent to the floor and the odor from the raw concrete, mold and water damage permeated the floor. The hotel refused to change the room to either a different floor or tower. After experiencing nausea and vomiting I had no choice but to inform the hotel I would be contacting the Italian Department of Heath.

albergo alquanto vetusto, privo di manutenzione nelle finiture: moquette consumata, carta da parati sfilacciata. Ottimo il servizio in camera, e quelli comuni. Servirebbe solo più cura. La struttura mostra molto chiaramente i segni dell'età.

DONT EVER GO TO THIS HOTEL ! It looks very nice on the internet, you get impression of a great place to stay, BUT real situation is totally different. Rooms are so small that we couldn’t place our things on the floor actually we had around 50cm or 17inches of available space around bed. If you want to sleep in a quite room you have to pray that nobody is in room next to your, cause you can clearly hear what people are talking quite in another room - I actually thought that somebody get in my room so I woke up few times a night and start screaming WHO IS IT ! My girlfriend and I stayed here for 3 days. First day we didn’t have hot water and heating (It was WINTERTIME, and we where freezing) When I made first complaint they sad SORRY, but they didn’t do ANYTHING. Second day we still didn’t have heating. Breakfast is worst I had in any hotel, especially 4 star hotels. We get one kind of bread (not fresh one), one kind of cheapest cheese...ALL CHEAP and not tasty, even juice wasn’t juice but some kind of sweet water… SO NEXT DAYS WE HAD BREAKFAST OUT OF THIS HOTEL. Oh yes, receptionist didn’t want to call a cab or taxi. He sad he called before and they where unavailable, so my girlfriend made a call and reach them immediately. I HAVE NO IDEA HOW THEY COULD RATE THIS PLACE WITH 4 STARS. Don’t be blunder with word PALACE in the name it is only a trick. It is ERGIFE PALACE HOTEL On the end we made complain because all of this and more. We (My girlfriend and me) paid around 150 US$ per night. To show us how sorry they are they gave us free drink - bottle of water WOW! We forgot them all because of that bottle of water! My God what a place! Don’t made our mistake and say in this dump! I will put my full name to prove that this is all true! I book this hotel over Venere.com No.1297273 and stay in it from 30.12.2004. to 02.01.2005. Best regards to all! Alen Karlo

There was no phone line in my room by which I could connect to the internet. This was a problem for me. I did use wi-fi however in the lobby. Expensive, but it worked fine. There were many problems with the elevators which often were not working.

Two Sisters that I am aware of fell at the bottom of the stairs leading to the conference rooms. The white marble of the stairs, the blue border on the rug immediately beneath the last step and the fact that the hand railing did not go down to the bottom of the last three steps contributed to missing the last step and thinking you were at the bottom prematurely!

To be a four stars hotel, there's not so much space in the room and the bathroom is really bad kept.

The employees at the front desk (check in) were not very friendly when they realized I spoke English, and little Italian. However, the employees at the bar and the pool area were very nice, and helpful. Also, the manager on duty who helped me make a reservation for a shuttle to the airport was very nice.
