Location was great. A bit over-priced for the room. Carpet was dirty, everything else was fine.

This is a small, but excellent hotel with a very competent and accommodating staff. When I mentioned that it was my wife's birthday, the staff sent a bottle of sparkling wine to our room at no charge. A week after checking out, I contacted the reception to assist me in obtaining some local transportation. They were more than willing to assist. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in the historical distric of Rome.

We enjoyed our stay. The staff were friendly and very accommodating. For instance, one morning we had to leave early so the hotel opened breakfast 15 minutes early for us. The bed was a bit too firm/hard for me and it was a bit tough to climb into the jacuzzi to use the shower, but overall it was as promised. Very good location. Would recommend it.

We were a little group of 4 bridge-playing-ladies who had a very nice stay at the Daniel's hotel. The personnel was very welcoming and willing to help, especially Emanuela. We were even allowed to play bridge in the bar, even if the table was tiny and the space quite small. The rooms were nice, clean, quiet and the location of the hotel so close to the Spanish steps is just perfect! We were also able to walk to the Fontana di Trevi, Piazza Navona, The Pantheon, a.o. We would anytime recommand the Daniel's Hotel.

Very pleasant stay. We found the rooms dated. Ours was bright neon pink. Unusually quiet for a downtown location, especially in this location. Very convenient to most everything. It is certainly better than some of the others in the neighborhood we've tried. Updating the rooms would be a terrific idea.

A great location 2 minutes from the Spanish Steps, the staff very helpful. We had a suite overlooking the Via Frattina and had no trouble with noise. There was fresh fruit in the room everyday. Great view from the breakfast room on the top floor.

The room (Mozart suite) was absolutely perfect. The breakfast is too simple, consisting mostly of cookies from the boxes. But the tiny roof restorant is very nice, with its wonderful views.

We were travelling with our three children. The rooms (espacially the suites) are very agreable, comfortable and spacious. The beds are perfect! The employees are always very helpful. The only weak point was the breakfast, mainly made of biscuits and awful orange juice. But the view from the breakfast room is incredible and wonderful!

location, and staff were excellent. Very good breakfast nice surroudings. hotel rooms small clean quiet. We had no view out our window. we walked everywhere except to the Vatican. Take the metro only 3 stops form the spanish steps, which is right around the corner from the hotel. Go to the Trevi fountain and Piazza Navona at night-real pretty. Have lunch at the Market place at Campo di Fiori.

Daniel's hotel was awesome. they upgaded us to a suite for no additional charge. we will definetely stay there next time we are in Rome. Venere had the best price. Important.... most Rome hotels have atleast half a flight of stairs to get to an elevator/lobby. Daniel's hotel has one or two steps only!

This hotel is located in the one of the most crowed part in Rome. But when we enter inside, the whole noise fades away. Nearly every staff is friendly and they take over the guest's request and serve. It is regrettable that the breakfast's room is narrow and one staff is antipatico!

Daniel's hotel, just 150 meters from the Piazza De'spagna. 100 meters from the taxi station, 50 meters from via del corso, ideal place for stay, surrounded by incredible boutiques, designers shops, and improbable restaurants. Hotel front desk were so so helfull and supportive, kind, smiling, and welcoming.

Daniel's was an excellent choice for our first visit to Rome. The staff arranged for a car to meet us at Roma airport, so we had a personal introduction and orientation to the city. The front desk staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful; for example: suggesting where to eat and then alerting the restaurant that we might show up later. They even mailed artwork we had bought that was too big to fit in our luggage. Breakfast on the roof terrace was good and the staff attentive. The marble bathroom with bathtub with jets was great for soaking our aching muscles after long days of walking the streets of Rome. Fruit in the room each day was also a nice touch. The central location was also great. This is not an inexpensive hotel but the personal touches made it a memorable stay. We were sorry to leave.

This hotel was fabulous and we would stay here again when we return to Rome. The room was spacious and the bath was large, modern and clean. It is in a great location where you can walk to many sites and the staff was very helpful. We liked everything about this hotel and can't think of a negative. It is expensive but worth the cost.

It was four of us and we had two double rooms; the the one that stayed at very spacious and very nice, but the other one was very small compared to mine. That was just a minor thing. Overall it was beautiful! We had a wonderful time and the personnel were just great! Thank you! This was my first time staying at Hotel Daniel's and on my next visit to Rome, I will definitely stayed there again.

We had a long birthday weekend in Rome. It was our first time in the city and we couldn't have been happier. The hotel was wonderful. Perfectly located. Only minutes from Piazza Spagna, the Trevi Fountain and one street over from streets of shopping heaven. The staff were very attentive and helpful. The room was not what I would call a suite (as in seperate bedroom and sitting room) however, apparently, by Rome standards it was very spacious. The bathroom was great, with a lovely spa bath and Bulgari products. It is a boutique hotel and so is not packed with facilities, which in a city where there is so much to do that you spend minimal time in your room, is not a problem. We would definitely return to Daniel's. One word of caution would be that the hotel does not provide an iron for guests use and it is "forbidden" to use your own travel iron in the room. As a result you are forced to pay for anything you want ironed (one short sleeved shirt - 3 euro) However, talking with the helpful staff, we came to an arrangement, which I was very happy with.

Hotel daniel was a decent place to stay in the heart of rome but they had limited ammenities as far as room services went. i.e. no coffee or drinks except when the breakfast room was open. When we tried to check out there credit card machine wasn't working and the staff wanted me to get a cash withdrawl from my card I told her they charge me cash advance fees on that and I couldn't do it.We finially just wrote down my noumber and they were going to run it later but I'm still uncomfortable with the whole thing. We also were charged more than quoted over the internet so we probably would not stay here again. Thank you laura VanMeel

This was the first hotel of our honeymoon and what a way to start!!! The room was fabulous and had windows overlooking the bustle of the street. The bathroom was to die for! We especially enjoyed the jacuzzi tub for two! After long days of sightseeing it was nice to soak and unwind!!! The staff was incredible and attentive to everything. This was the only hotel that offered to bring our breakfast to us in room free of charge-- which was trully helpful! They recomended the best retaurants too. Great central location close to a subway stop and two major sites. Also very cool that the street in front is pedestrian only traffic with the occasional taxi. Highly, highly recomended for a special stay... worth the splurge!

The hotel location is excellent just a step away from Spanish Steps and Via di Condotti. The rooms are rather small but nicely furnished and comfortable. We found the staff to be extremely helpful and cpmpetent. The breakfast room up on the sixth floor was delightful and the breakfast on offer the best we had in Italy.

Excellent small hotel very well located near Spanish Steps. Courteous, helpful and competent staff. Only negative point for us was the lack of broadband Internet access within the hotel. Staff went well beyond routine help to assist with access to a rental car without an International Driver's License.

Very well located. The staff is very nice and helpfull, the room is spacious. It's quite complicate to arrive with the luggage, but with the help of the kind receptionists, we could do it easily (Via Frattina is closed to trafic, but you can reach the hotel by taxi or with an special license provided by the hotel, if possible, in your car, for a limited time). I recommend this hotel, and I would definitly stay there again.

Junior Suite spacious and elegant, wonderful bathroom, delightful little breakfast area looking over rooftops, serving appetising cold buffet breakfast. Location very central, staff helpful in recommending restaurants and booking taxis. Unexciting entrance and lack of public space only drawbacks. Expensive but one expects that for quality in central Rome.

A nice quite hotel. We booked a suite to be sure that we got a nice room for our 4 nights stay. It was beautiful and large. It was even nicer than on photos. The bathroom was gourges. Some noise from the street, but with windows closed it was not a problem. (Aircondition) Hey we are in a city! Minus for not update picures of the breakfastterrace, which now is built in. Daniels Hotel is propably one of the best I have ever used in Rome. The room is spascious, and bathroom is excellent. there are however two drawbacks, one is the food offered at the restaurant for breakfast is very poor, and the other one is temporary (I hope), as there were people working on contstructre in the adjacent building, and they start work at 6am!!, and at the hotel they were working in the floor beneath us, also very early. Other than that, the hotel is super.

We were three Moms travelling in Rome - this hotel could not have been better! The room for three was quite spacious, and the front desk staff could not have been more helpful. Their restaurant recommendation was superb! The location is excellent for first time visitors, taxi accessible and close to the Metro.

Our room(101) was excellent and large. It was a junior suite. The jacuzzi tub had soap scum built up and we decided not to use it or clean it. The room was great but, a little enspensive. Location was great - near the Spanish steps and Trevi Fountain. Would like to have had a room on the upper floors. I requested a large bed(no twins) and received a super large king size bed. Breakfast was more than sufficient. The front desk managers were helpfull and very courteous. Thanks Venere.

We were pleasantly surprised by free upgrade to a suite, which was of good size, so we can't comment on the size of the standard room we booked. Daniel's is a very small hotel with a no facilities, other than a minute bar behind the reception. However, we didn't go to Rome to spend time in the hotel. Breakfast was on the roof with great views and was typically continental. Although, in the middle of the busy Via Fratinna, there was little noise after 10.30 pm even with the windows open. If you want to stay between the Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain and within walking distance to Navona and even the great restaurants in Trastevere, then this hotel is to be recommended.

Thanks for wonderful staying! I do recommend this hotel. I thought the kindness of the staff at the hotel for something not defeated anywhere to exist though the hotel was small. Always the room and the bathtub were wide, and it was always clean. It was possible to spend it five days pleasantly. It was convenient with walk to Piazza di Spagna in about five minutes and very convenient to the tube station in ten minutes or less. The breakfast was beautiful.Especially,The croissant was the highest. Parents were also very satisfied. When coming to Rome, I absolutely want to stay by all means at this hotel. Grazie Mille!!

What a wonderful small hotel right where one needs to be in Rome--just around the corner from all the good designers and a pedestrian street in front of the hotel. The front desk personnel are extremely helpful with everything from directions to reservations at great restaurants. Wonderful roof terrace for breakfast. We will stay again at Daniels Hotel when in Rome. rooms are spacious and well designed with all amenities. Great value in Rome

We were positively surprised by the rooms in Daniels hotel. The room was in excellent condition, it was bigger than we expected, and it was very clean and quiet. Daniel's hotel was much better than we expected, but not only that - the hotel is very good and we warmly recommend it. The only minor issue was the breakfast, which was not particularly comprehensive. It was ok, but not great.

A very good choise if you want to stay in the center of the city, near to Spanish Steps and via Condoti. A small but very cute hotel, with only 15 room in total. The room that we stayed was large (junior suite) and had a street view. In the frond side of the hotel all the rooms are bigger and they call them junior suites. The other rooms that I saw were smaller and have no view and they are their standar rooms. The cleaness of the rooms was very good. The welcoming and services of the employees was excellent.

We booked our four-night-stay on internet, and choosed Daniel's because of its location - and because of its nice open-air-terrace where breakfast and other meals could be served. Very, very disapointed we understood that terrace was closed cause of construction work, I think. How could we know..?? We understand that the hotel do not inform geusts about this, you could loose bookings,- but we have learned to asked about listed facilities before booking.
