Close to train station, clean, modern. Not much atmosphere but a good place to crash if you're travelling early next morning. also a bit far for going out in Trastavere!!!!

Genuine walking distance from Rome's main railway station. Well appointed with extremely helpful staff - especially the new front desk manager. The included breakfast was first class. All facilities met or exceeded expectations. We were genuinely impressed.

This is a nice little hotel. To read any of the rooms, you would need to go up a few stairs and possibly use the very small elevator available. The buffet breakfast is adequate but may not always be fresh. Some of the baked goods appeared two days in a row from the same baked item.

The hotel is within walking distance from Termini, which was convenient for us. The front desk manager personally escorted us to our room... which was already occupied by someone else. Instead, he put us into a suite, which was adequate and quiet. The layout of the suite and the whole hotel is odd. It is clearly a low-cost remodel of what used to be residential apartments or offices. Yet, it was satisfactory for us since we only stayed one night and valued price and proximity to Termini over other comforts.

I found Hotel Crosti ideal for my purposes, arriving by train, staying one night and then taking the train to the airport the following morning. It is close enough to the Termini railway station to pull luggage on wheels and yet it is in a fairly quiet area with lots of ristorantes and trattorias nearby. It is within easy walking distance of the central area of Rome. I was in a single room, which was very modern and well equipped in terms of bathroom facilities and a comfortable bed.

One of our favorite hotels on our 3 1/2 week trip to Italy and Autria. The breakfast buffet was by far the all time best!! We thought the location was good for all public transportation. If at the end of a long day in Rome you wanted to eat dinner near the hotel there were many choices. We found a great deli only a block away for snacks and wine. Love Rome and love Crosti!

The staff were very helpful and friendly at all times, and advised us on how to get to places and about local restaurants. A minor problem with the plumbing was fixed next day. Our room and the public areas were nicely decorated and furnished. We had a large bathroom although the room itself was smallish. Overall we had a very pleasant experience at this hotel.

This hotel is a gem in the midst of so many other mediocre Rome hotels which overcharge for their rooms. The reception staff was very willing to help and even offered us breakfast on the morning we arrived even though we had not paid for it. They called cabs, checked tourist sites, and were very responsive to our needs. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who appreciates good service, a small (but nice) buffet breakfast, and proximity to Termini. You will not be disappointed.

The staff was very friendly, helpful and welcoming. Our room was very comfortable. We loved the excellent breakfast buffet and thought the young man who staffed it most mornings was terrific -- his coffee was the best we drank in Italy, too! The location is excellent. It's an easy walk to the train station, and there are numerous restaurants in different price ranges nearby. We especially liked the steakhouse a block or so over. I hope we are able to visit Rome again someday, and we would happily stay at the Crosti again! It is completely non-smoking which is a big plus for us as well. There are stairs to go up and down to get to rooms and the breakfast area.

We stayed in two different rooms, both were comfortable, clean with modern fixtures and fittings. The room on the first landing was the better room, with easy access, larger room and opening windows in bathroom and bedroom. The room on the first floor was located through two sets of awkward security doors and a flight of stairs through and up which you have to struggle with and carry your bags. I found both rooms very hot and stuffy eventhough limited air conditioning is provided in the room. The staff were professional and helpful when asked, even if a little gruff. The most positive aspect of the Crosti is the breakfast, best we had throughout Europe. It is also located close to several good, casual restaurants, the best being Steak House (ate there twice). Overall impression of the Crosti is that "it does the job", but as the most expensive hotel we stayed in during three weeks in Europe, it was by no means the best hotel experience.

A very clean and tidy hotel in a quiet part of the city. Rooms well equipped. Only criticism was lack of spare pillows but they were aware of this and addressing problem. Receptionists very helpful. When asked, they suggested two restaurants just along the street. The one to the right - da Vincenzo - has family connection to hotel and was very good - i.e. excellent food, good service and at very reasonable price. Would definitely recommend hotel and if we return to Rome, we'll be staying there again.
