Black Hotel - Rome

Good value for money within easy reach of the Leonardo da Vinci airport. Surroundings are not interesting and a bit far from the tourist attractions, but the property is in a quiet area.

Value for money!

The only thing we can talk about in a negative way was the size of rooms, but we were on a business trip staying there only for couple of nights. we would surely recommend this hotel for its good value for money

Very nice and quite hotel. Every time I go to Rome I stay in Black Hotel.

Nice Restaurant but i expected a little more for that price

Hotel located in the area aurelia, modern rooms with not so great, staff friendly and available, not the exceptional price-quality ratio.

Very nice hotel, direction are very complicated good, thing I new the general area. Quite far from downtown and comming back at night isn't that great.

Air conditioning could be better; concierge could have been a little more friendly; our room had a sloping ceiling that is inappropriate for tall people; my wife and I bumped our heads a few times; I was charged 8 Euros for a juice and soda which was particularly insulting; more fresh fruit for breakfast please pool was great; restaurant had nice food

The hotel is fantastic with a "Scaninavian touch".

Great hotel ! Modern, quiet, swimming pool to relax after a day of visit and beautiful room. The bathroom is not so big but modern with all needed facilities. The only point to improve is the connection with the center of Roma : during the day, you need a bus and a metro and it takes between 45 minutes and 1h00. After 21h00, you need to take the taxi and it costs between 13 and 20€. For the bus, you can not rely on the timetable ...

We were staying at the Black Hotel on our trip to Rome, with my brother from South Africa. We like our Space and Style, with an eye for Modern Design yet at a reasonable price. This hotel had it all! BREAKFAST simply out of this World. Great Hotel - have just rebooked family friends there for 4 nighs, enough said!

This is a good hotel, great architecture, and very fine rooms, has to improve the breakfast. Good for business dificult to find even for taxis, far away from the city center.

Giudizio nel complesso molto molto positivo, anche se ci hanno fatto pagare l'ultimo caffè prima di andare via la mattina della partenza. non è certo per i 2 euro, ma ovunque altrove non era mai successo.

Nolle stanze, molto misurate, non c'è un vero guardaroba ma una nicchia poco capiente in cui a mala pena trova posto qualche indumento da appendere. La navetta messa a disposizione dall'albergo per raggiungere la metro è disponbile solo per poche ore del mattino e gli autobus di linea che raggiungono le stazioni vicine sono spesso sovraffollati.

Black Hotel is a nice brand new hotel on the small/medium size. It has an attractive modern design. It is in a peripheral calm and green location, close to other hotels and to public transport facilities (bus, metro). Not far from the highway around Rome, it is excellent if you have a car. Our room was very comfortable and tidy. Employes were kind and highly professional. It has a small but nice swimming pool to relax at. Minor remarks: maybe some more cupboard space needed; a couple of mornings we were waken up (well after 10:30) by the activities of the employees. Fair price. I would recommend it and go again there.

If you like the boutique-type hotel, then this one really is something. Only let-down was when I rang to confirm my room earlier in the day, I asked the receptionist if I could pay in sterling pounds and was told it would be fine. On check-out the following day, the new receptionist didn't have a clue about exchange rates and my partner ended paying for what was supposed to be my treat for him!!

Bella struttura moderna con stanze ben arredate e pulite. Un pò distante dalla città ma con auto e navigatore no problem. Prima colazione ok con cestini pieni di roba anche in tarda mattinata. Consigliabile.

Excelent Hotel, not to near of center of city, but is better for quietness. And there are public transportation Bus to Metro station

The problem of this Hotel, is that is very difficult to find, even the taxis drivers don't know the location of the Hotel. One thing that has to be improved is breakfast. Although the Hotel is very nice, the architecture, style, and rooms are very comfortable. I recommend this Hotel for sure for everyone that doesn’t mind to be out of the center of Rome.

Leider war der Pool geschlossen, da der Pool eine Baustelle war. Zur Bushaltestelle sind es nur wenige Minuten. Die Fahrt mit dem Bus bis zur Metro dauert durch den Verkehr teilweise sehr lange.

Pay attentions... if you have a guest in your room ... that will wrote in the recipt in capital letter.... Strange and no good idea!

The location is a little hidden, but not too bad. Luckily, our taxi driver had been there before. Public transportation is a block's walk, not bad. The rooms were a lot smaller than I imagined from the photos on the site, and the pool was under heavy construction (no price reduction, or notice). Their food was TOP NOTCH! I'd probably go back there just to eat.

It is an excelent hotel with a very contemporary design and totally new in construction and furniture.

I didnt know that the hotel was so far from the centre of the city. if i had known i would've booked somewhere within walking distance as taxis were very expensive. that is not too take away from the hotel though, it was a beautiful building and the staff were exceptional, but paying 36 euro for six garments too be ironed is a joke!!

Missing the swimming pool.under costruction until the end of summer. On the web it has indicated as "active".

The rooms were alot smaller then they appeared to be on the website. The pool which was a large part of the reason for choosing this hotel was closed. That information really should have been published! The staff exept for the maids were as a matter of fact rather incompetent. They could seriously not answer simple questions! They either didn't know anything or they didn't care!

Whilst the hotel was chic and stylish, there wasn't much atmosphere and the hotel was so much further than expected out of Rome that we hardly stayed in it at all. The staff weren't overly helpful and seemed to be much too busy to help.

Hotel bellissimo! è come trovarsi dentro un opera d'arte moderna. tutto è curato nei minimi dettagli, è bellissimo svegliarsi dentro ad un atmosfera così inusuale!

Very new building, very clean rooms, 10 minutes by car from the city center. Small public areas.

Veramente bello e suggestivo da provare

Discovering this hotel was a dream come true. It's quite off the center i guess, but if a hotel with A difference is what you're after, it's the place for you. Exquisite design, great atmosphere, comfortable, great service, very caring and friendly personell. Can't wait to stay again at this place!!!
