Hotel Palacavicchi - Rome Airport Ciampino   

The main advantage of this hotel is that it is a couple of minutes by the shuttle bus to the airport (very convenient in case of early flight from Ciampino airport). The shuttle bus service is also very good. For such a low price the hotel is quite good

Took 25min at 11pm to check us in, soccer team was staying very noisy. room was very dark and not very clean bathrooms were the worst bathroom and aircondition did'nt work and could'nt open door because of noise bar and club right behind our room. Only good thing in morning shuttle was available.

I stayed just one night, but definitelly will come back again. This hotel is very pretty, and its plus is its staff. Absolutely lovely. Ask for the airport shuttle service, it costs 2,50€, not 5€ as indicated!

Great welcome from the receptionist. Room clean and small, quite a long walk to to the room, would've liked one of the newly modernised rooms, we got an old one. Breakfast was good and great shuttle service to the hotel. The problem is the surroundings, next to a gypsy caravan site, so there's sercurity men with dogs patrolling the hotel grounds.

We had 2 major problems. The first was that taxis simply refuse to take you there. They send you to the buses and they do not seem to operate to any schedule. We waited for 45 minutes and were told that there may be a bus. So we walked. Do not try it!! We dined in the restaurant and it was great except the chef does not know how to prepare a risotto. We had eaten badly all week and were looking forward to a special last night. I asked the chef's nationality because he cooked us what I would classify as Indian rice. He used long grain rice and tinned mushrooms. I will not use Ciampino airport again as the transport situation is unacceptable. They only want to take you to Rome! The Hotel however was as scored.

Good hotel for one night stay whether coming into or leaving Rome CIA airport. We stayed there on the night of our arrival and our rooms were very good. The breakfast was also good but I found out later it was an extra 35 Euro's/night for it. We also stayed there because we had a canceled flight leaving Rome and the room was not as good and a very long way from the front desk.
