Hotel Villa Maria - Riva del Garda

Villa Maria is a clean hotel, new bathroom and everyvere was clean and a friendly nice staff, very good information about places to see and we got all the help we needed. Me and my husband stayed fist one night but we liked it so much so we stayed one more night before we left Riva del Garda and went to Valda de Gardena

Single rooms are often cramped, dismal and squeezed into parts of the hotel which cannot be used for anything else. My room was the opposite, light & spacious, excellent bathroom and with a balcony overlooking the road (some traffic noise). I used it as a base to do some Via Ferrata. Overall, a good choice and excellent value for money.

We felt welcomed to the Villa Maria as soon as we arrived. The staff were friendly and helpful. They provided us with a town map and suggested a restaurant, which also turned out to be just as was suggested, good food and not expensive. The rooms were clean and comfortable with all the basics for a pleasant stay. Why pay big hotel prices for facilities you never use? We would quite happily stay there again and would recommend it. Just one comment is that we would ask for rooms at the back if possible as the road could be a little noisy with the window open. However, that one minor point would not prevent us from staying there again.

One night spent in the hotel with my wife. It would be helpfull if the bus stop from Desencano railway station to Riva is explained in the web site. As well as the bus shedule and ticket price.

Very nice hotel with friendly helpful staff.Good breakfast. Our room was spacious clean and warm.Everything we could have wanted.

A pleasant small comfortable hotel in an excellent and relatively quiet location. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was ample with excellent tea-sometimes a bit hard to find in Europe! As I was in Riva for climbing, the mountain views from my balcony were very welcome. I would certainly visit again and will return to the Villa Maria.

Simple, clean, good breakfast, friendly proprietors, easy walking distance to main city, traffic on street and loud residents only drawback.

we just searched a room with shower and breakfast and this was a good choice. booked over internet the night before, arrived the next morning, was perfect. no A/C and maybe a bit noisy but considering the price: perfect.

Slightly run down hotel with hardly average breakfast, but nothing really worth complaining about.
