Hotel Lucrezia - Riola Sardo

I booked Hotel Lucrezia because of the wonderful comments on TripAdvisor and it lived up to all expectations. Even the location, though not in walking distance of restaurants, proved to be fantastic, as it is in the centre of the best wine and olive oil producing area and within easy reach of fabulous coastal areas. The room was gorgeous (though the hot water ran out a couple of times whilst trying to have a shower!) and the staff were wonderful and knowledgable. Definitely to be recommended.

I loved this hotel the room and en suite were excellent. The photos on the web site are accurate. The only thing this hotel lacks is that it doesn't have a restaurant. There are only 2 Pizzeria restaurants in walking distance. If you want to experience Sardinia with the locals this could be for you. The local bars are an enjoyable experience. Definitely need a car to visit surrounding areas and beaches. Riola Sardo is a town with quaint rural charm. I would definitely return to this hotel.

Lovely, but very expensive. A bit hard to find. Does NOT have internet for guests, although manager graciously allowed us to use his office computer. Only a pizzeria within walking distance; for dinner you must drive to another town.

The architecture of this hotel is wonderful; it seems to have been a farm once. Our room was very comfortable in terms of size and cleanness. The bed was perfect too. The bathroom was big – two people could comfortable fit into it. The shower was big as well and very modern. The hotel provided free WiFi – very nice! The breakfast was lovely. There were typical Italian sweets (also cornetti which I love :), muesli, fresh fruits, bread, marmalade, cheese, etc, ... The personnel were incredibly nice and very commited to provide good service. What was very helpful is that they provided a list of restaurants close to the hotel. We were at several of these recommendations and were very happy with them. You will need a car if you plan to go to beaches near to hotel or to a bigger city in the evening. One last comment: The one single thing that could have been better (but will not matter to most visitors): The espresso in the morning was from an automatic espresso machine. It was quite OK but for real espresso lovers this could be improved by using a manual machine, which are known to brew better espresso. We fully recommend this hotel!

Probably the best Bed & Breakfast we have ever stayed in!

A lovely hotel. Very laid back and relaxed atmosphere. The staff are so friendly and helpful and really went out of their way to help us explore the local area.

Excellent location for visiting Sardinia. Although there is no restaurant, they provided me with a platter of chesses and meats, since it was late. Very willing to please staff.
