Hotel Waldorf - Rimini

This hotel was under refurbishment. My room had the window shutter closed impossible to be opened.There were works on progress on the balcony. A tragedy.

All good, maybe a little bit more at brackfast, but the hotel is very good.

This is a hotel where I had stayed on 4 previous occaisions and been happy with. On this visit my booking was for bread and breakfast however when I arrived I discovered I had to leave at 6-55am each morning to catch a train to a trade show I was attending but that breakfast did not start until 7-00am. Most hotels[ this is **** after all] within my experience come up with something in these circumstances, their's was coffee and biscuits served by the duty manager. On my second morning I noticed that at 6-45am when I came to get my coffee, the buffet for breakfast was in place so I helped myself. On the third morning when I went to pour some fruitjuice [ at 6-50am] I was prevented by a member of staff, told most forcibily I could not have any as breakfast did not start until 7 and that I must leave the dining room, take my coffeee and drink it in the bar! The duty manager was in earshot of this conversation and so obviously approved. I thought this attitude unreasonable, especially out of season in a far from full hotel, while not disputing the hotel's rights in the issue. I think staff attitudes to guests are an important part of the overall hotel experience and minor events like this can mar the memory of the stay.

Nice hotel,great location,good breakfast,triple rooms very very very small.

Average business hotel, but a small room and no bath tub, which we had expected in a four star hotel

I had a lovely stay and the staff were very helpful and friendly.
