I had a great stay at Hotel Villa Lalla. It's located not far from the sea and the comercial area but also not far from train station and bus stops, convenient for visiting the parks and the beautiful Romagna's hinterland. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast could be improved but for the price I paid I can't wish for more. I recommend this hotel for summer holidays too, also for families.

The room beared no resembalance to the room advertised on the web, it was typical Italian decor bit chinty but ok. Great location near Plaza Kennedy, room size ok for 4, air con in room which was needed for our stay in early August. Staff friendly but probably helps if you speak the lingo. Breakfast was cakes & coffee. Overall enjoyed our weeks stay in Rimini.

Good location (not far from centre/station or from beach) in a nice, extremely quite part of the town. New furniture, excellent lights in the rooms, air-conditioned. Good breakfast corresponding to a 3* hotel. Very friendly staff. To recommend!!! BY THE WAY: Don't miss the new Rimini museum with the beautiful archeological section!

Very friendly, excellent value for money-shame about the weather, but you can't blame the hotel for that.

Very tough to find, especially at night. The staff was helpful in trying to 'talk us down.' Recommendations for dining were great, and the breakfast was one of the most generous we had in Italy. A good base for seeing San Marino.

We had requested a triple, so our room space was very limited, as they had put a extra bed in a double. The room was very clean. Shower was hot and strong spray, unfortunately one of the two towel holders were broken, so no where to hang wet towels. There should be towel bars installed. The breakfast bar had a good selection. Would like to see an addition of a english news channel. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would most certainly recommend this hotel to any family or friends travelling to that area.

Excellent stay in Villa Lalla in July 2006. Friendlyand helpful staff and good value hotel in this category. Ample breakfast selection while the location is ideal for both the seafront and Rimini old town, both within walking distance. Would certainly return!

A lovely hotel let down by the poor room service. Our floor was never swept. There was dirt and rubbish under the bed and we had an invasion of ants that was not dealt with. Very little English spoken. No roomsafe and no English language TV. Hotel had an English Hen party at the end of the week, with resultant noise and disturbance. Excellent location and good value lunch/dinner. Breakfast very heavy on cake but was generous.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and the rooms were very nice and spacious. The central location of the hotel is at advantage to anyone who stays there. We were a group of 4 people and everything was just perfect. The hotel confirmed our reservation on time and expected us and accommodated us as we had requested--on the same floor and the rooms next to one another. Everything was just on target and perfect.

We we're in Rimini for only two nights while visiting San Marino. Since we were traveling by train we wanted a location near the train station. The location of the Villa Lalla was great. About an 8 min walk to the train station. However for an additional 3-4 minutes of walking you can be right at the beach with many very nice looking 3 and 4 star hotels to choose from. The Villa Lalla seemed more like a two star hotel. Our room 104, was very small, the carpets were dirty, the room leaked and thus the floor was wet continuosly. The shower is a drain in the middle of the bathroom floor with a curtain that encirlces it. Lastly, the bed was not very comfortable. overall I wish I had realized how close the hotels along the beach were!

Bathroom was very unclean scum on soap dish and tiles, decor poor in the room, carpet on public staircase dirty and worn, empty fire extinguisher on 2nd floor landing. Only 2 bikes available for whole hotel, no safe in room. Breakfast was good served by a man resembling manhwel from faulty towers who worked hard and was very polite and friendly poor parking at property.Hotel in a quiet area close to beach and centre. we will however not be going back.....

Excellent location, a very short walk to the beach. Note that though it is 200m from the train station, it's only 200m to a bird, actually more like 800m by the time you walk around the station. Service and rooms were generally excellent, though there was an air conditioning problem in one of our two rooms on a hot night. The front desk was able to provide a fan to get us through the night.

The service was amazing. The people were always willing to help and doing it with a smile. They set bowls of fruit and left the breakfast out longer so that we could eat what we wanted. OUTSTANDING FOR THE PRICE!!!!!!

Overall we had a fantastic stay: the breakfast was better than expected; the rooms were clean; the noise level was surprisingly low for party-town Rimini; and the location, if not perfect, is the best you can get for the price. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Rimini. The only difficulty we had was using the internet point in the hotel lobby, but it's franchised and the hotel staff doesn't have any control over it working or not. (I suggest trying to use other internet access points, if necessary, often at the video game arcades scattered around Rimini.)

We found the room to be very comfortable and spacious, the hotel staff greeting on our arrival was extremely friendly which left us both feeling relaxed about our stay. The facilities were very good and locality perfect. We enjoyed our stay and found Rimini to be a very beautiful place which we would very much like to visit again some day.
