Hotel Vienna Ostenda - Rimini

Hotel is much smaller than it looks on the photographs and far less impressive. We had no hot water for much of our stay and our complaints were treated with no importance and no plan to put it right. We eventually got a very small reduction in the room rate but the manager refused to speak to us even though he spoke fluent english. He gave a very bad impression indeed. Room rate was changed and what had been confirmed by them was then just refused when we arrived forcing us to pay 20 euro more per day for a room with a bath when they had confirmed this was standard. rooms are very small indeed.

The whole stay could not have been better!

The room we stayed in was smaller than expected, unfortunately. The cleaning lady did not speak English, but most of the other staff did. Everyone was very very friendly, but we had to ask for information a lot, instead of getting a briefing upon arrival. (regarding breakfast, beach pass, parking area, stuff like that) The parking was quite troublesome, the reception needed to keep our car key to access our car to move it in case it blocked other cars at the small outdoor parking lot. They are really careful with it though, but if you need your car a lot, this might be quite "unhandy" Breakfast and dinner were excellent, there's adequate service and enough to choose from Overall we had a great stay and if we ever go back to Rimini, we would surely consider Hotel Kyriad Vienna!

During our 3 week stay in Europe this hotel was the worst. Our room was in the attic without a window, the shower was placed over the toilet like in a motorhome so that when you showered you also got the toilet wet along with the toilet paper. During breakfast, which was included, the serving platters were never refilled so that if someone took the last croissant before you got there you were just out of luck. For the service we received the price was ridiculous.

The hotel room was dirty (stuff on the walls and the floor was flithy) and the shower was broken. Even when we asked to have the shower fixed, they didn't fix it properly. They say they have a private beach, but they fail to state that you must pay an additional charge. The pictures of the rooms and bathrooms are extremely misleading. We were not impressed with this hotel and would not recommend it.

Would recommend it on to anyone, service was excellent and the food was too. Staff were very accomodating. Hope to stay again

While our roundtrip through Italy we spent only one night in this hotel. Overall the Hotel is ok, friendly stuff, very helpfull and no problems with English. Good beds, rich continental breakfast. The rooms itself (we saw two) could be a bit more spacious, the bathroom was absolutely ok. Although nothing really in special was poor or left to criticize, the overall impression is a little under cloud. The arrangements in 'Vienna-Style', especially in the rooms are a bit kitschy, the balkonies could be of better condition. The car park costs 6 EUR extra, which is not really understandable at a rate of EUR 88,00. We had hotels with cheaper rates where a garage was included. Summarizing all thoughts, it's not a bad hotel, but also nothing special. We expected a bit more and we're not very clear why this hotel has four stars. Most of our threee star hotels we had while our trip, where simply in better condition. It might be worthwhile to look arround at other hotels in Rimini, which is not very difficult, due to the high number.
