Hotel Regina Elena 57 & Oro Bianco Spa - Rimini

Would highly recommend this hotel; very nice & spacious rooms, helpful staff as well as excellent value for money

Was nice but not what we expected. We upgraded room to deluxe thinking that things would be better. We were given a free minibar (soft drinks only) and free parking! NOT WORTH THE EXTRA COST. Parking was offered anyway at no extra cost. No balcony, and the room looked over the Kitchens!!Even with free parking included we were lucky to have the last place. Rimini is not a town to park on the street! Free internet for deluxe rooms is free for a limited amount of time.

The hotel has recently been renovated and is beautifully furnished. However there are a couple of points of caution: 1. The "free parking" which is advertised on the venere website is actually not located at the hotel but is over 1km away. There is a shuttle bus which takes you back to the hotel however on very busy days and heavy treaffic it can take over 30 mins to return back to the hotel. In addition you have to wait approx 10-15 mins for the shuttle. 2. Also we were not aware that we had to pay for beach access. The hotel said that we did not get the beach package (Which was never offered on the venere website) and had to pay extra. We assumed that given the hotel's close proximity to the beach, beach access would be included. 3. Also, prior to checking out of the hotel, we had made arrangements with the night staff to check out 2 hours later than the 10 am chekout time(at noon)...however the following morning we were rudely notified that we were going to be charged an extra day for our late check out. It seems like the staff has communication issues and customer service is really not their priority. 4. Overall, Rimini is a very crowded and loud adolescent party town. I don't think we would be returning any time soon!

The hotel offers a good quality accomodation, the deluxe rooms are spacious with a particular good bathroom. There is an agreement with a beach facility (bagno) and a little swimming pool in the hotel's garden. Only negative elements were: 1. the private parking places are very few and we had to park along the way; 2. they wanted to get us out of the room already at 11 am.

The price of the deluxe room included wireless internet and beverages from the "frigobar". Unfortunately, the fridge was not completely restocked every day and we had to specifically request the staff to do so. No other complaints. The hotel is newly remodeled in an old villa and is a wonderful change of pace from some of the "cookie cutter" hotels along the Marina Centro strip. The staff is pleasant and helpful. The pool is sufficiently secluded...no street sights or noise. Breakfast is yum yum yummy...fresh pastries, fruit and lots of sweet and salty variety!
