Hotel Napoleon - Rimini

Welcomed with offer of coffee in pleasant common area. Room pleasant and spacious. Lift access, parking in hotel backyard available. Within easy walking distance from historic centre. The bed was not comfortable and espresso coffee machine malfunctioned on last morning. But generally a pleasant hotel to stay in.

Hotel Napoleon is among the best hotels I have stayed at in all my previous trips to Italy. (I usually look for one to three-star hotels) Well furnished under a Napoleonic theme, this relatively deluxe yet inexpensive hotel is literally located just 1minute's walk away from the Rimini train station, so it's not difficult at all for first-time visitors like us to reach the property. Our room is very spacious, and we love that it has a mini living room area and even a pantry hidden inside a "cabinet"! The staff are helpful and polite, and also the breakfast is high-quality and offers a great selection of food. The only thing is that the shower was quite weak so we couldn't truly enjoy our warm-water shower... Overall we were very happy with our stay at Napoleon!

This was our first stay at Hotel Napoleon which we deliberately chose for our one night stay in Rimini before catching a train down south. The hotel met our needs perfectly being opposite the train station. It is also situated in the Centro Storico which is the beautiful part of Rimini with typical piazzas and architecture of Emilia Romagna and typical places to eat. Piazza Cavour is partucularly attractive and a five minute walk from the hotel. Do not choose this hotel if you are wanting the seaside in Rimini (Rimini Miramare on the other side of the railway). We much preferred this part of Rimini to Miramare and we will definitely stay again. It is on a main road opposite the railway station but we did not find it particularly noisy, especially at night.

This is a perfectly pleasant reasonably-priced hotel. It is very convenient for the railway station and useful for a stop over if you are arriving or leaving from Rimini airport. The room was larger than expected.The staff were very pleasant and efficient and the breakfast more than adiquate. The surroundings, near the station, are not particularly picturesque. I would reccommend visiting the fine Tempio Maletesia, with its Piero della Francesca fresco, if passing through Rimini, birthplace of Frederico Fellini.

I have chosen this hotel because it was near the train station and close to the main archeological city sites. I travelled with my old man that cannot walk too much. I definetly suggest this hotel to those people that would like to vist the storic city of Rimini far away from the sea tourism. We could easily reach the main city attractions. The room was ok ( particularly liked the bathroom) and breakfast was quite good for the price.

The location near the railway station is excellent if travelling by this means. With a really excellent restaurant round the corner,the Europa,this makes it very convenient however since visited 10 years ago it has remained unchanged internally and really is in need of some updating/upgrading. Staff were really excellent.

Cheap hotel right by the rail/bus station. You're getting a basic room at a convenient location.

Situated just ten minutes walk from the old town area, and around fifteen from the seafront. The railway station, main bus pickups and tourist information are just two minutes walk away. Plenty of places to eat within fifteen minutes walk, and the station cafe stays open late. Hotel? Room fine (larger than expected), aircon at no extra charge, breakfast spread above average for Italy and staff very helpful and accommodating. For EURO 74 per night for a double, certainly no complaints.

The room is old fashionated, but also the bathroom!. It was not renoved since many yeras and now the standards are different. But it is clean and spacious

car park too small. Reception gave an excellent restaurant suggestion

Was only staying one night, arrived in the evening and leaved at 8 am the next morning. Easy to find, good situated - except the noice from the trains. Nice staff.

L'albergo è in ottima posizione per chi si muove coi mezzi pubblici. Sembra un pò un bell'albergone di una volta. Alcuni particolari danno l'impresssione di una non eccessiva cura, però la pulizia è garantita e gli ambienti sono spaziosi. Il rapporto qualità/prezzo è ottimo. Consigliabile.

A very welcoming hotel - all the staff were very courteous and helpful. Location was excellent - 10 minutes to the historic centre and 20 minutes to the marina and beaches. Only 2 minutes to the station (but the hotel wasn't noisy) and buses to San Marino.A good selection at breakfast with superb coffee. My room was incredibly spacious for a single and included mini-bar, safe, a/c, satellite TV and big bathroom. My only criticism - why don't they make use of the roof terrace with great views? - when I was there it seemed to be used as a dumping ground for old plant pots! But thoroughly recommended if you want to get out and about to places like San Marino and Ravenna.

Generally I like it. The hotel is near the rail station, and I think it is very convenient for those who want to depart early in the morning.
