Hotel Moderno - Rimini

Not a bad hotel, little bit expensive, the best is very close to the stazione (train station)

EXCELLENT POSITION. VERY GOOD WELCOMING AND BREAKFAST. GOOD RELATIONSIP BETWEEN PRICE AND QUALITY.

The Moderno could use a few upgrades but it is a comfortable hotel. The staff was pleasant and helpful, with varying degrees of English. The lift is a plus. The location is very good if one is taking early trains, but it is rather seedy and not too comfortable to walk in at night. Breakfast is rolls, tarts and cereal as well as a hot drink. The shower without a curtain was a problem - we couldn't keep from flooding the floor.

Already on reserving the room I've asked for a non-smoking room. As I came, I've got a room which smelled with smoke. I've asked for another room, but the only possibility I've got offered, was a double room with extra price (my room was a single room). After my room has been cleaned one more time (after that "cleaning" everything smelled so heavy with mix of smoke and that spray, that it was not possible to stay in the room). Fortunately that was noon, and I was going to come back to hotel in the evening. After the roome stayed 8 hours with opened windows, it was possible to stay there but it was not very pleasant. The first night was more or less OK. The next two nights (I stayed 3 nights in that hotel) were very good as the smoke and the spray-smell disappeared fully. But I'm still angry because of that first day and the first night and because they wanted me to pay extra for another room although that was their own fault! In all other aspects the hotel was very good and it is very good situated just in front of the main railway station.

Clean, practical, cheap and very nice breakfast and staf.

Best thing for us was the location: it was only 100m from railway station and easy to find.Only thing I missed was air-conditioning.Otherwise nice hotel.

Neighborhood wasnt that great, being right across from the train station. Wasn't that much to eat within walking distance. Ok for a one-night stop-over. We were given directions to "follow train station signs," but never saw one. Would have been difficult to find without "google earth" satellite photos my husband a brought with us

Hotel is a bit old. Corridors and stairs offered poor immage. Room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom of the room was very small and the shower was uncomfortable. The bathroom had humid smell and its extractor was noisy. Correct breakfast and nice staff. Well placed to visit the downtown of the city. Temple of Malatesta is a few minutes far away by foot.

The hotel was all that we expected for the price, excellent location close to the station with an equally excellent restaurant recommended to us on arrival.The only thing lacking was air conditioning in the room - a fan was provided. Summary:- good value for money.

Avevo una camera la secondo piano piuttosto rumorosa. I corridoi avevano una moquette che puzzava terribilmente. Le lenzuola puzzano anche loro perchè non le lavano coll'acqua... dormire ho dormito, ma non vedevo l'ora di tornarmene a casa mia.

This hotels main attraction is it's proximity to the railroad staion. The big inconvenience is that the shower is out in the open with no curtain. When we arrived we had a shower head that sprayed the whole bathroom. It was replaced and the new one was somewhat of an improvement.

Parkingspace is not guaranteed, but staff is very willing to help. Rimini is not a town for luxury, but moderno manages well.

Had 2rooms, one had ants! location is great, across from train station, bit dodgy at night though. could get better quality for money paid,

Unfortunately there was very little at breakfast in the way of choice and although the staff were lovely and very helpful the actual condition of the hotel was poor, especially in the light of other hotels that venere offer. Other than that it was a fantastic holiday!

It was a perfect location for a one-night stay, right in front of the station. The area is not brilliant but it is only ten minutes to the beach and restaurants. The price for a triple was very convenient. No air-conditioning, though, only a small fan.

The hotel was a big disapointment. Services offered did not correspond to discription on Venere and other sites. We were made to believe that there was air condition, minibar and ice machine. None of these are true except for an ice machine in the bar. After our booking the information changed and is now more accurate but the hotel is very simple and I can´t understand why it has three stars. The breakfast was minimal. For a short stay without children it´s ok but otherwise choose something else. The shower in our room was stuck high on the wall, with no cabin or drapes in the small bathroom. Definitly not suitable for young children. There was no fan in the ceiling but we got a table fan. Because of the heat we had to keep the window open at night and with the train station across the road you can imagine the noise at night. On the good side was the nice personel. We left early to a much better hotel.

Very well located for Rail travellers - equidistant from beach and old town. Clean. Good sized rooms and friendly staff. No air conditioning and limited breakfast facilities.

Very good hotel. Located near the rail station and in easy walking distance of both the sea front and the medieval historic area of Rimini. Euro per euro it is a good value.

Room was very comfortable. Location good as situated 5 minute walk from beach and a five minute walk from old part of town. However, advertised as rooms with mini bar, air con, and cable but our room had none of these facilities. Directly opposite train station and main road, room on the noisy side. Very limited parking outside hotel and if you can't get a space, you have to take your chances on the main road, which only alows for an hour waiting time.

Evan was really very sweet and nice; everyone else was just okay. The train is directly across from the train station, making it a great location (i.e. less schlepping of the bags around). It's only a ten minute walk to the beach.
