I will never book a room on line again. I will never stay at LeMeridan's hotels again. I booked the room for 4 nights. Upon arriving at the hotel I had experienced trouble with my rental car. I advised the hotel that I needed to cancel the last two nights stay due to my rental car and there was no way to replace it in that city I would have to drive back to Venice, Italy. The traffic in August in Italy is unbelievable crowded. The staff at the hotel stated that I would have to pay for all 4 nights at the hotel. I was not aware if I showed up and stayed some of the nights that I would be charged for all 4 nights. The way I read the e-mail information was that if I did not show at all I would be charged for 1 night stay. This experience as left me never wanting to book on line again. I left after 2 nights and was charged for all 4 nights. I have traveled to Europe for the past 5 summers.
