Hotel Brown - Rimini

We have stayed at Brown 7 nights in Aug. The staff where very helpful and kind. The room was Very small, we were 3 adults but it was not a room made for 3, not even for 2, and you have to be very permessive. If we go back we stay there again beacuse the staff, but in 2 rooms.

Staff were really helpful and friendly, close to railway station and beach. Walking distance to local amenities. Breakfast was good. Stayed at this hotel many times.

It took me an hour to walk from the train station to this hotel when it should have taken 15 minutes. I got a useless map from the information desk beside the station. The hotel is dated, sad-looking and the staff were not very helpful. The breakfast was horrible and none of the public spaces looked like they had been redecorated since 1968. The room was clean and spacious and I it was cheap to stay there.

Pretty good hotel. Good location and obliging staff. Only rooms very small.

Seven of us stayed at the Hotel Brown using four reasonably sized rooms between us. All the rooms were nice and clean with excellent showers, TV and comfortable beds. Breakfast was typically continental and adequate. We could not fault the service of the staff, they were great. There is a restaurant which you need to book if you want a choice of food and we had a good reasonably priced meal there despite just turning up. The swimming pool is just across the road which was fine but we didn't use it as it was too cold when we visited. My only concern was that in some of the rooms there was the distinct smell of sewage for some reason - my room on the restaurant floor and my mother's on the first floor were fine though. All in all a nice hotel, close to the beach, shops, bars and Old Town and excellent value for money. We would certainly not hesitate in visiting again if we were to return to Rimini.

Would qualify as a nice family hotel except that most people were not friendly or polite. the location of the room, tiny and at the end of the topmost corridor, one level above the lift conveyed that I was treated as an uninteresting customer (and woman?).the room had no price list or sketch of escape route inside, (although the window allowed to climb onto a roof terrace)and seemd to be in fact a maid´s room. when I asked to put my wallet into the safe downstairs because the room didn´t seem safe, the reaction was as though I had offended the lady: she said there never had been any incidents. Which is a pity because I would love to come back to Rimini if I have more time - but I will not choose this hotel as long as I travel alone. also I was asked to check out by 10 o´clock (you stated 12 - which is also usual)

Room quite good size.. also if other rooms are quite small... easy to reach..

Great location, only a 10 min walk from railway station, couple of mins to beach and good pool just over the road in adjoining hotel.

Everything perfect but the coffee! Never drunk so awful in Italy, you'd better ask the reception for a good one. Tey have it but you have to ask for it.

It was a real little room. But for my trip of four days totally ok. Not far away from the railway station (15 min to walk)

Very good hotel for the price was paid, I recomend it .

Overall my stay was very pleasant. The restaurant served excellent meals.Most of the noise was happy noise - there were lots of families staying at the time. My room was extremely small - but adequate. There is no swimming-pool.

The hotel was very clean and the staff very friendly.if i go back to Rimini next year i will stay at the Brown again.

Very Very NOISY Hotel, don't book a room on the 1st floor (it's near the stairs, restaurant and its toilets...)you won't get any sleep past 7a.m nor take a nap in the afternoon but it's quite cheap so you can't expect something extraordinary. Hotel extrèmement bruyant, ne surtout pas réserver de chambre au premier étage (restaurant, toilettes, escalier à moins d'un mètre des chambres) mais pour le prix, difficile de se plaindre.

This is value for money, but nothing special. Two negatives, the walls are paper thin so you can hear your neighbours and the coffee machine for breakfast produces stewed shoe leather

The room was quite good but a little noisy because of the other guests

I paid 45 euros for a night full board and have to say it was a bargain. The room was basic but clean and everything worked. The food again was nothing amazing but was fine and there was plenty of it. A great place for a stop-over.

I accompanied my Father and his colleage, who are both in their 80s, on a nostalgic trip to their old battlefields from the Second World War. Their accommodation and conditions at the time compared to their stay at the Brown Hotel for the week were beyond compare! The three of us shared a memorable week and were very impressed with the service offered. We would gladly stay there again as an out of season hotel.

The swimming pool is at the sister hotel, this is not mentioned, only seconds away though. Marble floors everywhere so very noisey, especially early morning with the maids etc. No air conditioning working, but the rooms were still cool. We enjoyed are stay cheap and basic, centrally located. We wanted to spend our time and money enjoying Rimini and not the hotel room!!

All in all my stay at Hotel Brown/Atrium was ok but I would have wished for the staff to have better knowledge in english. Especially the ones that work during night.
