Since its opening in the beginnings of the 18th century, the historic Grand Hotel Rimini e Residenza, situated on Italy's Adriatic Coast, has lived through highs and lows which have characterised Italian history.

I stayed there with my mother. The room we stayed was the quiet one with very nice Adrian view, the overall atmosphere in the hotel was splendid even in the off-season (Private beach still worked partially), and hotel people were really nice to us.

Le ratio qualité/prix est extrêmement faible ! Pour un hôtel de cette catégorie, les prestations offertes sont nettement en dessous de ce que nous sommes en droit d'attendre ! Nous avons été à peine accueillis, nombres de clients se sont plaints, comme nous, du bruit fait par les femmes de ménage le matin. Les murs sont en papier de cigarettes et dès que l'on cogne contre les murs, tout résonne ! L'hôtel est très très mal insonorisé et le personnel du desk peu sympathique. Seul les personnes attachées à la restauration sont agréables et très professionnelles. Nous allons faire un courrier à la direction.

The hotel was lovely, the surroundings beautiful. Would have been a better touch to be shown to the room on arrival. Easy access to the beach, shops and restaurants but dont think it right to charge 35 EUR pp per day to lie on the hotels private beach as we only had b&b. The food in the hotel is over priced (esp lunch)so would recommend eating out in restaurants close by that have great food at fraction of the price (seafood options amazing).

Historical hotel, it is not so modern in the rooms. There is a wireless, but you have to plug your laptop in the bathroom to charge it. Room are not so spacious. The breakfast is very good. The balcony was in front of the sea (wonderful view) but it was very dirty outside. I would return in this property if they will refurbish it, keeping the ancient style but offering modern electrical and electronic services.

This hotel was a highlight of our month-long stay in Italy. It compares favourably with any grand/delux hotel in which we have ever stayed, and, out of season,we stayed at a fraction of the usual coat. Built in the style of the Grande Epoch and set in gardens facing the Adriatic Sea, this gracious old hotel offers a level of service seldom encountered in today's world. The service was impeccable. The meals in the restaurant were among the best we had anywhere and comparable in price to those in any good restaurant in Rome or Venice. There were numerous public areas for sitting, reading, playing cards, or just relaxing. But the best aspect of this hotel was the service offered by everyone, from the concierge to the dining room. We do recommend asking for a room with a view.

The Grand Hotel Rimini was "grand" 30 years ago - now it needs a serious refurbishment (broken mirrors, worn-out rooms, ...). However, the hotel is extremely charming, in particular the surroundings (the garden, the terrace, the breakfast) and I would generally recommend it, at least at the prices venere.com offers

METHODS OF PAYMENT
Venere.com does not debit your credit card for your reservations. You will be asked to insert your credit card details which will be sent to the property only as a guarantee of the reservation. The bill will then have to be settled directly at the hotel. reimbursed and shall be kept as compensation. In case of early
departure, the whole stay has to be paid for entirely.For non ref rates: the
reservations must be prepaid for the entire stay .
