Hotel Circus - Riga

I think that it is a hotel for people who is there to explore the City. Do not expect too much comfort in the hotel. An excellent location, close to bus & train terminals. It is a small hotel with few rooms, with limited hospitality. However, it is safe & a bit restricted in surface.

Small family owned hotel with little rooms,very very good location.Very low prices.Quiet. Recommended.

Location good and rooms clean. I only saw three rooms and shower outside door. I did not like sitting in reception to eat meager breakfast. Nor did I ever have a key to my room as management right outside door to lock and unlock my room. However, I would recommend stay for single traveler.

I've stayed in Riga 5 nights, but after one night I went away from this hotel. No.

DIRTY TOILET NO QUIET RATE PAID VERY STRANGE

This b&b is in an old building. the air in the room was quite heavy and damp like it was coming from the underground. the room was ok but the bed linen wasn't clean. it was full of cat hair. i think the lady at the reception who actually runs the place has cats. the place was ok but i wouldn't stay their again.

Please review your relationship with this "ghost" hotel. I doubt it isn't even a hotel and looks more like a shabby private house where they let some of their rooms: no hotel sign, no reception desk, no shower in the room, shower available nasty... This was an interesting experince. The address on venere is REALLY the circus..the hotel is two doors down.I did not expect to have a shared shower and wish that had been indicated on the website. There was much confusion when I arrived because the hostess did not speak any English..also they do not take credit cards. Still, once the confusion was over, the hostess did everything she could to make my stay a good one. It appears that this is really a home and you are a guest...you do not get a key to your room. I did feel that my things were safe but I had to have the hostess lock my room when I went to the shower. Once I accepted that this was more of a home, b& b rather than a hotel, I had a very nice stay and soaked in the atmosphere and hospitality. The location is very central and they do try to accomadate. It just was not what I was expecting from based on the website.
