Dodo Hotel - Riga

Everything was very nice,I would definitely stay there one more time.. Welcoming was excellent.. I recommend this hotel for couples.

the hotel has a very good connection with city centre. the tram will take you directly, in about 15 minutes. tram schedule is shown in every station. i recommand to buy a tram pass which will give you full usage of the tram, during your stay. we are a young couple, with no special needs and we do not seek luxury. Dodo was as good as we expected.

A very good hotel overall considering. Friendly atmosphere, nicely welcoming staffs, decent rooms for short stays. The room I was in lacked of a proper wardrobe. A warning for italian guests, although there is a 24 hours coffee vending machine in the main hall, what they call "Expresso Coffee" on the selecting button, does not resemble at all the coffee we are accustomed to. (what came out of the machine was, infact, extremely long and watery). Complessivamente un ottimo hotel adatto per brevi soste. Pecche pochissime, nella mia stanza non c'era un vero e proprio armadio, rimpiazzato da alcuni utili appendini. Il caffe' espresso, o così chiamato sul tasto della macchina distributrice sita nella hall, non è affatto espresso (troppo lungo per i gusti italiani).

Interesting hotel considering its price. Breakfast not included and I considered it expensive (4 euros). The sorroundings of the hotel were pretty ugly according to my point of view and not advisable to arrive late at night. Tram 7 is 1 block from the hotel and in 15 minutes yo get to the old town. Room was fine and clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. Sometimes at night there are noises coming from the near streets or from other rooms but not an issue.

Third time in Riga but first time in Dodo hotel. It makes the stopover in Riga affordable and pleasant. Previous times I had to pay the double to find a decent hotel.

Very good price/quality ratio! Clean and nice rooms, helpful English speaking staff, WiFi. Pity that the hotel is located in not very welcoming environment, but quiet and not far from the old town of Riga even on foot - about 15 mins. Tram stop nearby. I would come back, thank you.

We were in Riga for 1 day to return from Scandinavia Tour. The hotel is a new and modern low cost one but there is no information how to reach the hotel with public transporation (eg.Tram No 3,7 and 9) which is very easy with it.

It is good low-cost hotel in Riga. But there are: low quietness of rooms, no refrigerator in room and the walking distance to historical center is near 30 min. In any case Riga is an amasing town and I strongly recommend to visit it at least once. And it is really difficult to find there the better hotel by price/quality as Dodo. But don't foget to take earplugs if your neighbours are so passionate :).

Very very poor breakfast.

A nice stay at a nice hotel. Near to the town centre and a tram stop just a few meters from the hotel. Clean and modern hotel, very "price-worth"!
