Hotel is good situated (but not easy to find by car) directly at the old town. But be careful with booking premium rooms, the windows look in the lobby (open over nine floors) and you can hear the bum bum of the swing-doors from the kitchen minimumto to the sixth or seventh floor.

The Avalon Hotel is on the edge of the Old City, and so everything is within easy walking distance. It is well located near the railway station, but despite being on a busy road, was quiet inside. We liked the style coupled with the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, who all spoke very good english.
