Hotel Luna - Riccione

Although it was off season, this was an excellent hotel. Getting to it would have been less stressful if they had a map or directions on their web site how to get there - By plane; train etc.. The Breakfast was very good, however, there was no room service or in room recommendations for restaurants.

The hotel has a great location, nice personnel and gorgeous breakfast. My room was incredibly noisy, it was possible to understand converstaions from a room nearby. At arrival, the temperature was equatorial (at least 30 degrees Celsius). During the night some electrical switch had a failure and began to go on-off with an awful noise: I spent half an hour to locate the source of the noise, and shut off the lever...teh garage was out of service, but i was lucky I found free parking nearby (being low season). I guess this can be a big problem if the garage is out next summer..

This was the gem of our stay 8 day trip through Italy. Great breakfast, with eggs cooked to order no less! The staff was very attentive and went out of their way to make sure our needs were attended to. The rooms had a simple elegance, but were just a tad on the small side. Only an 8 minute walk from the train station, 5 minutes from the beach. The smell of pastries cooking and drifting up from the kitchen was a great way to wake up in the morning. They are, according to one of the desk staff, adding a basement garage, executive office, and fitness center. A very quite hotel in a pretty noisy, busy town.

Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Air conditioning was not in service one night and a bit faulty the next but overall our stay was wonderful.
