Located in the heart of downtown Reykjavik! The Arnarhvoll Hotel has a great location in central Reykjavik (Miðborg Reykjavíkur in Icelandic), 2 blocks from Laugavegur, a major shopping street and commercial artery; it’s also a centre of Reykjavik nightlife. Just 1 block to the south is the Culture House (Tþjöðmenningarhúsið), a museum that exhibits one of the most important collections of medieval manuscripts in the world.

The oldest part of the city, the Kvosin neighbourhood, around the public square called Austurvöllur, is approx. a 5-minute walk to the west of the hotel. There you can see the Alþingishúsið, the 19th-century Parliament House; the small Reykjavik Cathedral (Dómkirkjan í Reykjavík); and the Reykjavík City Hall (Ráðhús Reykjavíkur) adjacent to Tjörnin Lake (also called Reykjavik Pond). Just to the north is Reykjavik Harbor (Reykjavíkurhöfn). The Hotel Arnarhvoll Reykjavik is a 10-minute walk from the new Harpa Reykjavik Concert Hall and Conference Centre.
