Hotel Lodge La Valette - Cesson-Sévigné, Rennes

The staff were really helpful and the room and breakfast good value. We particularly liked the self service breakfast with a kettle to make your own tea, thus ensuring boiling water and all dairy products in a cooler. The town of Cesson was an unexpected delight: we had a lovely evening out, with a meal overlooking the river, instead of a functional stop-over.

It was central to the town and chateu. The beds where comfortable. plenty of clean towels. The breakfast was adaquate.

Easy to find, plenty of parking space. Were not serving evening meals, but that meant we had to go for a walk and discovered the lovely village and so ate there. Breakfast a bit overpriced - Macdonalds just a mile away! Rooms comfortable and clean - staff helpful.

Good hotel for our stop off on way to Brittany from Boulogne. We only stayed one night and the hotel met our needs for a place to kip. No 24 hr reception, abd knowing we were going to be late a call ahead of sorted out access and our key. Overall a good value, clean hotel with friendly staff.

We were looking to book a good value family hotel room for our overnight stop whilst travelling from the Brittany ferry port to our Vendee holiday location. We found and booked the hotel through the internet website, and we were not disappointed! The staff were excellent - very friendly and helpful, the room was spacious and clean, all services were as described on the website, and we are still convinced the price cannot be beaten for value. We definitely recommend this hotel, and will certainly be returning in the future. 10/10 !!

This is a great place to stay. Easy to find, close to everything. We had a great time, had a family room for four; stayed here for three nights. Breakfast was good. Would definitely recommend this place and would stay here again.

The room was spacious and very comfortable and the hotel as a whole was most charming and cosy. We had the 3 course set menu dinner which was simple but lovely and worth staying in for! Even our young children enjoyed it. Overall our experience was perfect!

Stayed for one night as a stopover on the way to South West France. Had a family room, one double, 2 bunks. Hotel was clean and tidy and ideal for a one night stopover. Didn't try breakfast as we picked up some croissants from the nearby Carrefour.

Used for a one-night stopover. Great value hotel. Located an easy walk from the town through a park in one direction or the supermarket in the other. Only serves evening meals Monday to Thursday.

We arrived at 9.00pm at night and there were no drinks or food available in the hotel and we were too tired to try and find our way to find something to eat. Excellant accommodation and service. Would book again. Thank you.

Room was in need of redecoration - rather shabby. A kettle and tea-making facilities would be appreciated by most.

We chose this hotel because of it's location. I have stayed in many hotels of varying standards but none matched the service offered at La Valette. The staff are very friendly and attentive. We are definitely going back next year

Excellent budget hotel which actually accepted a family of 5 with a double and three single beds - Fantastic!!! Good breakfast and only a 10min drive from the centre of Rennes. Perfect for a one or two night stay.

This was our first time staying here. for a 2 star this hotel was great, the staff were very welcoming and couldn't do enough for you. very friendly atmosphere. we had a triple room. Room was basic but spacious and spotless. very quiet. breakfast was good with plenty of selection.
