A wonderful location near the station in a mainstreet which is also very attractive with many restaurants. Staff were very friendly. This hotel would be ideal for anyone wishing to use the rail service.

For travelers who enjoy and use trains/metro this hotel is ideal. We literally crossed the street from the Gard Nord in Rennes and located the hotel. The area was within walking distance to museums, Thor Parc, and Parliment Square. Numerous restaurants and cafes in hotel area. Staff was friendly and most spoke English.

Un hotel muy correcto, bien ubicado y un personal muy amable. Muy buena relación calidad precio. Tan sólo es recomendable no aparcar en la calle por los excrementos de los pájaros (gorriones y otros pequeños).

The location is excellent just a step away from the main station, the metro and the bus station. Walking to the old town takes about 10 to 15 minutes. Only problem we had was with the final bill as they had added 1.10 euros per day tax that we had not allowed for. It was also annoying that although there was only French tv there were no subtitles available. At least one English speaking programme would have been good even if it was only CNN News

The hotel is very well placed for parking at the station (19 euros all weekend) and easy walking distance to the old town. Good food and service at Pizzeria San Remo just round the corner but many other restaurants to choose from within easy reach.Rennes is well worth a visit for shops architecture and the beautiful parc Tabor, relaxed and good ambiance.

How to reach Hotel Campanile Rennes Centre

By car
From Laval and Le Mans: Take Highway A81, then road N157 towards Rennes, and proceed on the N136 towards Rennes Sud/Nantes. Exit at Rennes Centre and follow direction Rennes Centre, then Gare SNCF (train station).

From Saint-Malo: take road N137 towards Rennes, then follow direction Rennes Centre and Gare SNCF (train station).

By train
TGV trains from Paris run every 30 minutes at rush hours. The trip is only 2 hours. Many direct train connections from Marseille, Lyon and Lille, as well as express local trains are also available.

By airplane
Rennes Saint-Jacques airport is 15 minutes from Rennes city centre.
