Hotel Quality Hôtel - Reims

We chose this Hotel in Reims primarily because of it's secure underground car park and affordability - we were touring the area on Motorcycles and using Reims as a base to start from each day. The Photo's do not do this place justice, yes from the outside it looks to be a bit of a characterless concrete monstrosity, but the interior of the hotel is fantastic. It was extremely clean and staff were very helpful and welcoming. Rooms were spacious and clean with everything you could need including a minibar. The hotel restaurant is top class, the quality of food beating that of every restaurant we tried on our trip - and with 5 courses for 35 euro's great value too! The hotel is also in a fantastic location, less than 5 minute walk to the centre and the Cathedral and walking distance to most of the big Champagne houses too (Veuve Cliquot and Pommerey each being about 15min walk away). Finally I will mention how friendly and extremely helpful the staff were, at the end of our trip, my back gave out pretty badly and as a result I was unable to leave the hotel room for a couple of days. The Hotel staff called me a doctor, took the beds out of the room and set up a matress on the floor, even checked up on me 3 times a day to ensure I was fed and watered. I will definitely be staying here when I next visit Reims and think you should do too!

Easy walking distance of city centre. Great hairdryer! Nearby stadium noisy but over before 11pm.

Quite a way out of the centre but a tram line is close. More suited to a business visitor not a tourist.

Not bad for a short stay and relatively close to tourist attraction. The site says that the parking is FREE, but it's not! Cost you 10 euros a day. Watch out for your final bill, they tried to charge us for breakfast for the entire stay, although we only had it once. Other than that it was good.

Just an overnight stay en-route to another location. Reims town centre very nice for a meal out, plenty of choice.

The staff at the hotel were very professional and helpful. Compared to other hotels I have visited the price of the room and of the services used was slightly higher than of a similar standard. The hotel is not far from the A4 so noise could be an issue if you like to have the window open. Air conditioning is available though. Breakfast was expensive for the items consumed. My (unofficial) advice would be to eat as much as possible and make sandwiches for lunch as well! Secure parking is available which was important to me as I was travelling by motorcycle.

The hotel was in a good location, the service was friendly and the value was reasonable. However I do feel that the decor was very tired. It looked like something from the 60's and the beds were uncomfortable.

The location is good, the facilities are good for the hotel of that class, the restaurant has good and inexpensive food, there is a parking garage right below the hotel with an access to hotel elevator.

Very pleasant hotel with a good restaurant. Within easy walking distance of the cathedral and the main city centre areas. Hotel has a secure underground car park too. Hotel staff were very pleasant and extremely helpful.

Great location of hotel - easy to drive to and walking distance into town centre. However room was not clean and the bedding had stains on it - very unpleasant. Also, the air conditioning didn't work properly and we were overcharged when checking out!

Clean and comfortable, and within easy walking distance of Reims centre. Previous reviewer said that rooms were a bit gloomy, but I'm colour blind, so it wasn't a problem. Prices on website are abot E15 low, but hey, it was a bank holiday weekend. Top tip: Don't go to France on a bank holiday Monday, it's shut.

Great hotel for the price! Within walking distance to the cathedral. Underground parking (pay) is handy, but initially hard to find without help from the front desk.

The hotel is placed within walking distance of Reims town centre. Although the decor is rather dated (dark and dreary) it is made up for by the wonderful staff, so friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant was delicious though a bit pricey but well worth a try.

Upon arrival from a long day getting stuck in Paris traffic we were poorly greeted by a snobby front desk person (and I speak French very well). The rooms were old with nasty carpet and a faint scent of some air freshener trying to cover something up. The rooms were a bit bigger than we have seen on the rest of our trip, but that was the only plus. Thankfully we only stayed here for one evening. Do not recommend!

Decent value for money. Window was broken in open position but was fixed within half our of my reporting it so you can't say fairer than that!
