The hotel is located near the beach, has comfortable accomodations and the staff is gentle. Rooms are not very spacious but this was no problem, since we stayed just one night.

Room was good. It was not spacious but this is the norm in Italy. The young staff were excellent and very helpful. They assisted us in a number of important areas. The restaurant was very good and reasonably priced and, again, the staff were excellent. The area surrounding the hotel (along the beachfront) is very seedy and created a feeling of not being very welcoming. The beachfront, in May 2008, was absolutely filthy with rubbish strewn everywhere. It appeared people just threw their rubbish into the street instead of disposing of it correctly. The shopping precinct, in contrast, was good and very reasonably priced. The people here commented that they would like more tourism however they were let down by the negativity of the locals. The buses and trains into Reggio di Calabria were very frequent and close to the hotel. This area of Reggio has the potential to be a great holiday destination however a concerted effort needs to be made to clean the place up and put on a welcoming face for visitors.
