Hotel Italia - Ravenna

Nice rooms, nice staff, good breakfast and a short walk from the city center (being close to the railstation may feel a bit weird/unsafe in the evenings). One minus was the non-functioning wireless internet, but there is a computer in the hotel lobby that one can use.

I chose the hotel for its proximity to Ravenna railway station and its WiFi provision. Although included in the price, the connection was per-device only (so only one of a laptop, or iPhone, or iPad, but not all three), and was so slow as to be almost unusable. For this reason alone I would not visit again. Otherwise, it was friendly and clean.

This is a real find in Ravenna. Very close to the train station, it's also within very easy walking distance of the center of town and almost every important site. Soundproofing is excellent, rooms are comfortable, and multilingual satellite TV is provided. Wifi access is not free, but there is an internet-connected computer available to guests. We've already recommended this hotel to other potential visitors to Ravenna and will continue to do so. Only one small inconvenience: the only spare plug in our room was in the bathroom--not ideal for recharging electronic devices.

Hotel very near to the railway station and within walking distance to all the sights (mosaics) within Ravenna. Good restaurant attached to the hotel, very good food and a really accommodating young chef!! Would go back there again and would recommend the hotel.

Great hotel in a very good location. What we got for the price was excellent, and we can recommend the hotel for anyone who want to visit Ravenna.

Very good accomodation, close to the station and the center of the town. Free parking in the hotel is a very important plus.

Try to get a room on the higher floors if you don't want street noise. The staff was competent, spoke English and very helpful. Best feature was the offer of bicycles, which is the only way to explore the town. The hotel is also next to the train station, with free parking for rental cars, and only a few meters from the heart of Ravenna. Très bon accueil et même si la chambre donne sur les voies ferrées,la tranquillité de nuit est assurée par une bonne isolation;proche des sites à visiter si l'on aime marcher.

We had a spacious room with double bed and an additional one (for 3 people). The staff was very polite and competent. Services were high standard. We had breakfast and a lunch at the hotel restaurant. Breakfast rather dull. Lunch: Fixed menu: good quality.

Ottimo albergo,camere spaziose e pulitissime, bici a disposizione dei clienti (utilissime a Ravenna!).Unico neo: il giorno della partenza dovevamo uscire alle 7,30, non abbiamo potuto fare la colazione (inclusa nel prezzo) in cambio ci hanno offerto solo un caffè....

The only thing that disturbed me in my stay at Hotel Italia was that I have been given a room for smokers. The smoke smell was persitent, but that was probably my fault: I never asked for a no-smoking room. The breakfast is not that good. Apart from those things, i really enjoyed my stay at the Hotel.
