Hotel Diana - Ravenna

This hotel doesn't look much from the outside, and exterior photos were confusing, but it was clean, comfortable, peaceful, provided a good buffet breakfast, and is within an easy walk of all the main sights of Ravenna. We were also given a free complimentary upgrade to a more spacious room.

Everything we hoped for. Breakfast room like an openair room - lovely. Pity about the coffee machine - to get a decent cup you had to press button several times!! We were delighted to get an upgrade - unasked for.

The hotel was not difficult to find, but you do have to pay attention. It's right next to San Giovanni where there is a presepio worth seeing - do hit the button to activate it. The room I was in was very large and comfortable. Two other couples I was with had smaller rooms, but adequate for their needs. The breakfast was very good. The hotel is a good base for walking the city to see the attractions. It's about 15 minutes on foot from the train station.

We has a great one night stay at the Hotel Dana. Some of the things that I liked were the friendliness and competence of the staff, the size of the rooms (the biggest I've been in Italy), the location (not exactly downtown but a five minute walk from there and all of the sights), the breakfast offered (fruits, cereals, all types of yoghurt, etc..), and finally the price, all of that for less than a 100 Euro in a triple room. Hotel Diana will be the first place we turn to if we return to Ravenna.

Nice clean comfortable spacious little hotel ideally situated in a quiet street near St Vitale, the main attraction of Ravenna. Helpful reception staff.

Very good Hotel. the stuff/ owner are nice and willing to help. The breakfast is the best one I have in my entire trip. beautiful public areas. I would definitelly stay again and recommend others.

Very clean room, i reserved for a double and they give me a triple with no surcharge. The breakfast buffet was rich, with also food for coeliacs sufferers too.There is a parking in the proximity of the hotel (0.50 euro/hour, from 8 to 20). In the same parking you can borrow a bicycle for free, ask to the tourism office of Ravenna city. We had a nice journey.

I enjoyed my stay. The parking was convenient and next to the hotel. I had my dog with me and the staff were so welcoming and accommodating for her as well. If you have a dog, I highly recommend Hotel Diana. The breakfast was excellent and location was very close to all sites in Ravenna.

A clean comfortable hotel in convenient position with helpful competant staff. My only complaint would be the coffee machine at breakfast, several hotels used on this visit to Italy have these, and without exception they deliver the most dreadful coffee, after the first morning I avoided it and drank tea.

Hotel is very good situated, in the center of the historical city but also near to railway station. Very friendly stuff, would stay there again.

The price of the room was coted 83€/day and your rate was 89€ the room is very narrow for the price

Ravenna was a very interesting place with great Byzantine mosaics. Hotel Diana was well located in the old city and close to the sights. They served a good breakfast with plenty of variety. My only complaint is that the room was VERY small.

Perfect location -- only a few minutes away from San Vitale and its wonderful mosaics. Excellent buffet breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. My room was very small, while still having a good en suite -- others may be larger.

Very good value for money. Room somewhat cramped, but otherwise excellent, with view over garden and nearby church. Well located for the city centre. Peaceful surroundings. Very competent staff.
