My wife and I wanted to go to Ravenna for the mosaics, but we decided it would be fun to add some time on the Adriatic. So I chose the Corallo. We loved it. The staff was very kind and most helpful in answering all our questions. The hotel is a short walk through a forest to the Sea and the bus ride into Ravenna only about 20 or so minutes. One thing, if you are traveling by bus (as we did), you may find the on-line directions a bit vague. Make sure when you get on the bus to mention the Corallo to the bus driver or he may pass it by. The bus stop is almost in front of the hotel. Recommended!

Excellent service. About a 15 minute bus ride from Ravenna, so it's in a quiet beach community. The hotel is 300 feet away from the beach, requiring you to walk a path through lots of trees.. beautiful. On the opposite side about 600 feet is a lagoon where people can fish. There was a group of elderly Italian tourist that stayed for a few nights there and they had karoake and dancing. We joined them - we're a couple of asian party crashers. They welcomed us with great friendliness. The hotel staff offered us samples of Italian wine from the bar. The staff also offered to go into town to get seafood for preparation of dinner should we not be able to find a good seafood restuarant.. we took that offer and the food was great!.. and they didn't even charge us extra. The staff really went out of their way. We highly recommend this hotel

A nice hotel with a excellent beach facilities. The rooms are big and comfortable, and the maids are very compentent making up the rooms very quickly during the morning. Unfortunately we stayed in a room on the top floor facing the front of the hotel facing east in a very hot period. Subsequently we had the choise between sleeping with windows opened, thus getting a lot of noise from the bar entertainment right underneath and being waken up by the sun 4.30 in the morning, or sleeping with the windows and blinds closed but then with the air condition running on full speed the whole night, which was quite noisy. Anyhow we survived and Marina Romea is still not a party place with disco bars all around. Something that we appreciated a lot.

You cannot fault anything with this hotel.The cleanliness is second to none,our room was cleaned every day,the staff are very helpful and friendly.My wife and i were only bed and breakfast but the choices on offer in the mornings were second to none.The hotels private beach is ideal,you are allocated a bed for the duration of your stay so no having to get to the beach for 0500 for a bed.This is a first class hotel if you are thinking of a vacation in this particular part of Italy.

The hotel served the worst breakfast I ever had. Very poor selection, no meet, sour milk, orange drink tasted like water.

How to reach Hotel Corallo

Arrive to us is simple and immediate, once arrived to Ravenna is sufficient to follow the indications for Porto Corsini, Marina Romea, Casalborsetti to north of the Darsena (the port of the city). Marina Romea is distant only 5 km from Ravenna and it stretches itself in line with pine-wood/seaside.

The railway station, located in the center of Ravenna, connects Marina Romea by public transport every 30 minutes; for arrive of the motor highway, follow the indications for Ravenna Nord/Venezia (SS Romea Nord - 309).

The nearer airports are " Rimini Riviera Airport - Aeradria " of Rimini, and the " Marconi " of Bologna. In both cases the solution of the train is possible as that one of the bus that connects the cities of Rimini and/or Bologna to Ravenna.

The inserted maps have the scope to represent the position of Marina Romea and Ravenna regarding Italy and Europe. There are also some indications about the roads and motor highway to follow in order to arrive at the destination.
