It is like staying at someone's family holiday home, but in a good way. Service fantastic from all staff. Beach resort is very nice, great location in midst of pines and close to Po Delta nature paths. Rooms on 3rd floor have balconies and overlook pool - good size and lots of storage space. Breakfast is very Italian so no eggs, meats, etc., but very fresh and satisfying. The restaurant in the hotel is great and you can charge to the room. A fantastic value at the beach.

The website gave no map or directions to the hotel. So, we just made our way to Marina Romea and drove around until we found it.

Unfortunately we arrived at the end of the season and both the hotel and the immediately local area had already died the death of out-of-season. However it was convient and nearby to the lovely Ravenna.

We didn't sleep all night as there were people running up and down the corridor, slamming doors. The hotel is old and the noise from inside the rooms is bad. We moved out after 1 day.

Nice hotel with good restaurant. The service of the restaurant could be better.

For a 2 night stay the hotel was fine, service and food were good and the outside areas adequate. We chose this hotel for being close to Ravenna and its mosaics. Since we were there off season, the other guests were quite a mixture, some very elderly, some families with small children and a number of builders working in the area. At the hight of the season it will probably be a lot different.

I've been in Marina Romea 3 nights at the end of Jan. The hotel was quite empty. The personnel were friendly, the room was ok and the food was good.

Having travelled the length of Italy, and a fair amount of France, the Columbia offered a warmer reception than most and a better breakfast. As it was the end of the season we did not expect all the trimmings; e.g. to find the restaurant open. I would like to comment on another hotel we booked through your company, The Palace Hotel at Varazze. Please send me a questionnaire for this location, as I have a lot to say about it. It is my intention to contact you about the hotel, so I will wait a short time to hear from you.

Very friendly, welcoming staff. We really felt at home. The food was excellent. The directions to the hotel were very good, however the location according to the on-site map is completely wrong.
