The hotel staff was very helpful in interpreting from Italian to English when we needed help!

Overall, the quality of service was a 10, but the parking is difficultand the parking attendent put a long scrape in the side of my rental car...hotel specifically rejects any responsibility for such. The restaurant is excellent, great service, ambiance, and excellent food. However, the menu is very seafood topheavy and when the hotel is not busy, limited. On two nights there were no pastas without seafood, and only one appetizer without. I am not a seafood consumer, so my choices were limited. I noticed a vegan couple at the next table struggling to find anything they could eat on the menu. I have visited the Amalfi coast many times and usually stay up the hill in Ravello centro, but am very pleased with my choice to stay at the Marmorata

We had deluxe wit jacuzzi room. We paid 230 euros per night and it wasn't worth the money. Room smelt like was closed for ages and toilet wasn't very clean. We couldn't put clothes in the cupboards as they smelt humid. But the restaurant was excellent, also views. We would come back to have dinner, but not for staying.

the restaurant is not comparative with the hotel for the quality and for the price.

The hotel is located by the sea. Our room had a beautiful sea view as if we were in a leisure ship cabin. The restaurant has excellent food. Services provided were very good and the staff very gentle. Rooms were a little small, but the overall impression was very good.

Typical hotel hanging off the cliffs of Ravello. The hotel has all the facilities for a beach holiday and will arrange for you to visit local points of interest, for example Pompeii and Vesuvius. You can travel to Amalfi quite easily where you can take various sea trips eg Capri or Ischia. We went by taxi to Amalfi, quite expensive, but a good alternative to public transport which was quite hairy given the the notorious Amalfi coast run. Excellent terrace restaurant offering sea views and relatively modest priced food/wine.

The hotel was absolutely excellent; our bedroom super room number 405 much more than we anticipated. The breakfast buffet was marvellous and we dined there most nights which was also good; not excellent but good. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel and its beautiful location to anyone.

Very nice hotel, magnificient views, room was a little tight on storage (not because of size but furniture could have been appointed more efficiently). Would highly recommend this hotel. Visit Ravello and eat at Cumpa Cosimo, great local-style cooked food.

Hotel staff very competent and professional. Restaurant is good but lacks personality The place is marvelous. It is not really at Ravello ( it is in the "comune" of Ravello and this can cause some trouble if you have a GPS and input Ravello as the final destination. I had to call the hotel to clarify it)

While the staff at the restaurant and front desk were fairly approachable and helpful, we were very disappointed to be treated with such disregard from the owners themselves who were on property at the time. Because of this and the noise level we encountered (screaming child next door!!), we would not recommend this hotel.

The Hotel Marmorata was the first stop on our honeymoon. The location, while not really convenient (i.e. walking distance) to anything, was beautiful, as advertised. The combination of the pool and being able to swim in the sea was very unique, and the setting is spectacular! It was a very relaxing place to spend a few days acclimating to Europe. If you're up for it, the hike up 1,400+ steps from the hotel to the town of Ravello is well worth it - you can always take the bus back down (you have to change buses in the town of Amalfi), which is an adventure in itself... Overall, a very enjoyable stay at the Marmorata, and I would definitely recommend it.

A fantastic setting - not in ravello as stated but on the coast close to amalfi. Great dining on the terrace and swimming in the Med. Rooms okay but bathrooms very small. Great friendly staff.

Great place for a quiet get-away to relax and enjoy the beautiful views of the Amalfi Coast.

A nice hotel if a little unusual. Great sea views but the hotel is a little isolated and isn't in Ravello which is the impression given on the web. Still, a very nice hotel.

Charming hotel, wonderful location. Staff extremely helpful and efficient. Room and especially bathroom a bit cramped. Rooms and corridors uncarpeted (part of the charm) but made it very noisy in early morning.

It's an outstanding location but it is a little isolated. Although the restaurant was good, if you don't want to eat dinner at the hotel each night, you are faced with driving a VERY winding road in the dark, which means you can't really enjoy the outstanding wines! The staff's English was good. We would definitely stay here again.

The Marmorata is a wonderful place - a beautiful location tastefully decorated. The location was not where we expected the hotel to be as it is actually on the road to Salerno and not in Ravello as described - it is therefore a €15 taxi from Amalfi and a €25 taxi from Ravello - there is a courtesy bus but the opportunity to access seems to depend on who you are as the staff do not offer it as a service and seem offended when asked about it. The Marmorata is a truly lovely place to stay some of the staff could however be friendlier to make your stay a 5* experience
