The hotel is not easy to find at first attempt but is a delight when you do get there! The views are wonderful, the staff were welcoming and very helpful and the facilities more than adequate. We had a great stay and would certainly return

I found the Hotel difficult to spot at first, a better or more readable sign on the road would have been a help

The Graal is a nice Hotel away from the Square in Ravello. It benefits form a great view of the sea from the rooms and the pool. The only thing that lets this down is the staff who are at best miserable. However, for a mid price Hotel that is close to the centre of Ravello it does offer good value.

The location of this hotel, looking over the Mediterranean from my room and from the pool, is like paradise. Staff always ready to help, speaking English. The morning I left, very early to get to airport, they set up breakfast just for me, facing the sea. I felt very special. Great value for the price!

Excellent location. Basic breakfast which was disappointing. Rooms are old in style. Soap and shampoo not replenished daily. High cost low value.

Had a wonderful stay at the Graal. The rooms are spacious and the view was spectular. The hotel is a short walk to Ravello town. The bus that takes you from Amalfi up to Ravello, practically stops outside the hotel, so it is very easy to travel by bus to the hotel. Staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good. The rooms were very clean and spacious. It was enjoyable just to sit by the pool and enjoy a swim and the amazing view.

The Hotel was gorgeous with the most amazing views. The staff were wonderful. The woman on reception for our stay could not have been kinder or more helpful. The owners were an obvious presence throughout the stay and showed concern for our enjoyment. We could not believe the value for money with the location, views and lovely rooms. We will certainly stay there again (hopefully).

The view from our room was fantastic and the manager was really friendly and helpful. Hotel Graal was definitely one of the highlights of our trip in Italy.

The desk personnel made this one of our best experiences. Also the location of this hotel is very convenient to the main center. The breakfast service was indifferent. Availability of computer access was convenient.

A very good hotel with the best view we ever had from a hotel room. Restaurant was OK. Only black point was the small quantity of food served on our plates.

Very pricey compared to the rest of Italy but location is what you pay for. Has the feel of faded glory about it but room clean and staff competent. Views amazing, location perfect and pool refreshing; helps one forget about the cost.

We found that the air conditioning in our room did not work. A staff member checked, said it was "OK" and the hotel moved us to another room only when I complained again and they admitted that it didn't work "on that floor". The aircon didn't work in the new room either, and there was a permanent annoying mechanical sound. The new room was so new that it didn't have half its light bulbs, or a TV, or curtains that fitted. On checkout the manager admitted that the aircon had not yet been turned on in the hotel because it was too early in the year (late May), even though it was "unusually hot". As we had a choice between non-aircon and (more expensive) aircon rooms in the Venere booking form and chose an air conditioned room, this is unacceptable. So although the hotel cut our bill and provided pretty good food, we won't be returning.

the hotel is in a wonderful location but it is tired and it is reflected in the bedrooms and public areas. the bedrooms as not to the standard of a three star. The furniture in both of the rooms we occupied was broken. The first room was very disappointing very old poor furnishings no fridge - the second room was better but the furniture was still broken. The public areas are old fashioned and service is limited.

We had a very pleasant stay at the Graal. The views were spectacular and the pool area was clean and tidy. Staff were also very helpful. Rooms could perhaps do with a bit of updating though, otherwise very clean and comfortable.

You should provide a more detailed map and show that you are conveniently located to the Ravello Plaza (short walk, no climbing up or down.

Cet hôtel est idéalement situé à 2 mn à pied du centre de Ravello. Les chambres sont correctes, très bien pour y passer une nuit ou deux.

i was booked in for 2 nights, after my first nights stay i woke up early and went out to search for a new hotel, once i found 1 of the standard i expect i checked out of hotel graal as fast as i possibly could. if was like staying in a youth hostal, the rooms were frezing, when we asked for the heat to be turned up we were told it would not be turned on until november, how this is rated at 3 stars i will never know

Staff argued that standard rooms do not have air conditioning. After many arguements with the manager we managed to move to rooms with air conditioning but had to pay a €11/night premium for it. I seen 4 rooms in all and from this evidence every room needs urgent refurbishment. Manager had cheek to claim that we had been the first people to ever complain about air conditioning. Even their own website claims aircon in the opeing paragraph. Even the locals were well aware of the substandard rooms within the Graal.

The hotel is in a fantastic location, but is sadly in need of attention to some details. For example, my bedside lamp was attached to a hole in the wall with no electric power, the hairdryer in the room broken and the replacement positively prehistoric, and although stated, there was no aircon in the room, the mini-bar was replenished on a haphazard basis, and a full ashtray remained on our balcony (neither of us smoke) for the entire stay! The staff were pleasant - above all the Head Waiter in the restaurant, but were let down by poor attention to detail. I will certainly be going back to Ravello, but won't be looking to stay at the Graal again. I travel a great deal in my work, (although this was a leisure trip)and have seen a great number of hotels. I have to say that I was not impressed with this one - other than its location.

The Venere site is very easy to use and there were no hidden costs - the inital price quoted was the price we paid unlike another travel website. Hotal Graal was excellent with stunning views from all the rooms and extremely friendly staff. The breakfast room is beautiful again with stumming view. The hotal is in an excellent location for Ravello and beyond. Would definitely recommend this lovely hotel.

We arrived and the room they assigned us was a standard room instead of a superior for which we booked. After our grumble they admitted that our room wasn't available for the first day so we had to stay in the standard one. No discount in the final bill for the problem they caused us!

What can I say? The view from the room is breathtaking! And for the rest its a very mediocre hotel (we had the impression the interior decorator had stopped being hafway the job), bathroom was not very clean upon our arrival. We had the feeling they are very overpriced just because of their location. We paid 165 euro per night; it wasn't worth it.

The rooms were too long and narrow. The pool was empty!

When we stayed there the hotel was being renovated. there was no resturant or bar. there was a breakfast room but noone showed us where it was or when breakfast was. drilling woke us at 8.30am as we were in a room underneath the area being renovated. No compensation or apology was offered for the inconvienence of the renovation. Prices were still charged as high seaon. It was our honeymoon and we never would have stayed there had we known it was being renovated.
