Hotel Mignon Posta - Rapallo

Okay for low budget trips, but not really charming

Quiet and inexpensive place for modest-budget, non-demanding travellers; friendly personnel, quite clean bedroom; cleanness of the bathroom leaves, however, much to be desired.

Good relation between price/quality.Well located in the center of Rapallo and near the railway station. With a car it is more complicated.Very warmiun summer because there is only a fan in the room.

Quite decent hotel, comparing with the prices for other hotels in Rapallo, this is a good bargain.

Quite good location. But the excellent picture on venere and the reality don't correlate. A poor little room with a little bed made of iron-pipes. Good staff and helpful people.

My wife and I found the Hotel Mignon Posta to be a lovely place to stay while in Rapallo. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clear and decent sized. The bed was comfortable enough. The only negitive I can think of is that the bathrooms and showers in particular were quite small. I am only 5'9 and I found it pretty tight in the shower. There was plenty of water pressure however. Besides that it is well located, maybe 5 minute walk to train and very close to the center and water. If you are looking for a hotel to hang around in, this might not be the place. If you are out and about and looking for a safe, clean place to sleep, I would highly recommend this for the price. While in Rapallo, be sure to take the cable car up to Santoaio Di Montallegro for an unbeliveble view. Also pack a bathing suit and take the ferry to San Fruttoso to swim in some of the most beautiful and clear water you will ever see.

Unscheinbares, in der 1. Etage gelegenes Hotel im Zentrum von Rapallo, sehr saubere Zimmer, freundlicher Service, einfaches Frühstück. Preis/Leistung für diese Gegend in Ordnung.

The ideal place for those who want to see nearby villages as it is near the railway station. Extremelly friendly and welcoming people. Very clean and warm. Facilities were great. Great value for money. We deffinately reccomend it!!!

A very good place to stay

Un weekend stupendo - l'accoglienza presso il Mignon Posta eccelente, disponibilissimi ed amichevoli. Molte strutture dotate di un numero di stelle più elevato dobrebbero soltanto IMPARARE da Mignon Posta. Ci torneremo SICURAMENTE!!!

Un'po difficile a trovare l'hotel nella citta. una zona tranquilla. tutti sono sinpatici. grazie! solamente non potevo usare Wi-Hi per causa di rooter.

This is a hotel for low budget travellers. The employees speak English and are very nice, very helpful, and the hotel is comfortable, but one should not forget that this is just a two-star hotel. Even so, one has free Internet access if one has a laptop. The price/quality relationship is not particularly high, but given that Rapallo is very, very popular and overcrowded, it is not bad if compared to other hotels in the neighbourhood. The location is acceptable if one can accept that there is no scenic view from the windows. The beach is just a few minutes walk away, though. Good stores and restaurants, bus stations are also closely located; however, the train station might be too far away for elderly people (use the bus or take a cab!). It is extremely hard to find a free parking place near there, which means, if you can find one, rather go everywhere by bus and train, leave your car where it is. The breakfast is also of two-star quality. If you cannot live without air condition, fridge, minibar, safe, iron, and similar high-star equipment, then this is not the best choice for you. However, if you just look for a nice place where you can perfectly enjoy your holidays in a wonderful city even without luxurious equipment, then you will enjoy your decision. I think the region has so many exciting places that most people will use their hotels for just sleeping anyway. For this purpose, the hotel is perfectly suitable. I would definitely stay there again.

This hotel was a lovely stay. Easy to walk to from the train station, only 5 minutes straight down Corso Italia and then right - recommend printing a Google map to take with you before though as can't see it from main street and no map on hotels site. There is an elevator up to first floor. Staff were very helpful, welcoming and friendly. Even so one morning I slept in past breakfast time and they waited for me - how nice! Breakfast is an Italian style breakfast. Rapallo is a small town, so easy to walk everywhere. Recommend catching the tourist boat along the coastline to Portofino. Unfortunately it was too rough to go the monastery. Also catch the train to Camogli, beautiful beach (not much of a beach in Rapallo itself). Great for a relaxing stay on the Italian Riviera.
